Constant Server Disconnect issue Investigation

lately when playing QP or Ranked the game server automatically disconnecting , and when reconnected i cannot join to the same match and in return i get suspension .
so i contacted the blizzard support regarding this issue but i always getting copy paste response from GameMaster .

what they saying is to check my connection or update drivers and windows .
i’m a IT specialist so i know all the troubleshooting steps , otherwise i wouldn’t contact blizzard support asking about what’s happening on the server .

I played on Asian server , me and my buddy always getting disconnected at same time soo i know this isn’t a issue on my pc or my ISP .

but after switching to Amercian Server nothing really happened , so my guess is there’s some issues on Asian Server … i haven’t checked the European server but i’m sure that one also works better than Asia Server.

if anyone here experiencing the same issue , try switching to other servers and make sure to restart your client after switching. check your profile on top of Battle.net client and make sure its says “Connected to Amercian Server” or the server name you switched to . ( You won’t get higher ping when switching to servers unless someone in your team / enemy team using a VPN or really located in USA or EU )

i have been playing on American server with 50-60 ms which is my usual ping on asian server, i rarely get higher ping like 90 or 100ms

This is also happening in practice mode as well, getting a LOT of “could not connect to server” messages as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if the trashbags out there have started their DDOSing again

are u using a vpn to switch servers?

no - you can switch servers by clicking “Globe” icon on the Battle.net client

Switching servers won’t save you. For the last time it’s someone attacking and DDOSing the servers and taking them down. Do something about them Blizzard. ITS STILL GOING ON

There haven’t been any DDoSes affecting Overwatch 2 for the last week, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

Okay then why is it impossible for us play any game without it randomly disconnecting us? When will things go back to normal?

What region are you referring to? I haven’t seen a disconnect in weeks on US servers, not even from my Comp games. But I don’t play in any other region and wouldn’t have info about them.

I am also getting this bug. Has happened 2 times today and theres nothing new about my PC, updates or anything.

I’ve been having lots of issues playing today as well. Rubberbanding and just general hitches that havent happened before

I have been commenting around as well to share my experience with similar issues. It was around the start of this season that the connection began getting so bad. Every day that passed it got worse. I’ve done as much as I can to try and solve the problem. I’m convinced it’s nothing on my side. At first it was horrible ping, then dcs, and now if i get online with stable connection it will randomly kick me halfway through a match, even with a (seemingly) stable wired connection. The ONLY time I have been able to play a good few games has been specifically after midnight, usually after 2am (ast) where everything goes to normal . My friend has had similar issues, he even has higher speed internet than me he recently acquired, also struggling to connect to server. I’m very frustrated because this is my main game and I hadn’t had these issues until this season. I just want to play the new mode and enjoy the skins i purchased :broken_heart:
