Server connection issues + latency issues

I’m having issues logging into battlenet. Even if I do somehow manage to get into OW2 I join a game and I’m immediately kicked off OW2 and battlenet. My ping starts off at 30-40 and my fps is 200. I’ve tried troubleshooting as y’all have suggested and nothing is working. I even checked after the maintenance and it’s still not fixed. Is this a DDOS issue?? Or just a blizzard issue?? Please help. I’m so frustrated that I can’t even play on the game I pay money for/on.

What type of network are you connecting on?

Ethernet cable. I’ve never had this issue until recently. I’ve always averaged high FPS and latency/ping of 30. Now it’s hitting insane amounts to the point heroes are floating across the maps and underneath it. I then am kicked from the matches and ow server and battlenet servers.

It just sounds like you have a bad connection to the Blizzard services.

Try an alternative network, like a hotspot, or a VPN, to see if the issue persists. If not, then you know the problem is your ISP or home network.

I have a VPN and I flushed my DNS and tried hotspot. It’s not effecting my battlenet. Pretty sure the battlenet servers/application is just not working. My Ethernet isn’t going out and luckily nothing is wrong with my PC or motherboard (I’ve checked everything) pretty sure it’s just DDOS attacks or issues with the battlenet application.

Battle.net services haven’t reported any outages since early last week. If you’re experiencing connection problems, it would be happening for a different reason.

Okay. I ordered a new Ethernet cable to see if this may fix the issue. Whenever I get kicked/disconnected from OW2 it says, “lost connection to game server.” Whenever I try to reopen the blizzard/battlenet application it says “connecting” and buffers forever or says, “oops something went wrong we had trouble loading your content.”

Testing the connection with PingPlotter or WinMTR is a good idea.
