He’s ruining the game. The little tickle you gave him doesn’t even register as a nerf. Big changes are needed, and they need to be implemented before season 11 starts or the game is pretty much a write-off.
Revert Projectile Speed.
Snipers should do well at high ELO, not every ELO in the game. There shouldn’t be such thing as a “low skill sniper”
Nope. He still has an excellent spam ability and increased mobility with his dash. He’d settle around C

You think it’s good game design that the fastest projectiles in the game are the most damaging by far??
Here’s a hint, it’s not.
Headshots that kill should be hard to land, currently they’re not. Currently there’s no reason to ever consider picking McCree while Hanzo can just do his job better, and easier.
Its actually his leap. It has such a forgiving cooldown it makes Hanzo impossible to dive effectively, alongside giving Hanzo more mobiliy than a sniper should be allowed imo.
I think the best nerf to him is to remove his critical chance on storm arrow but increase the damage to 100 per arrow, meaning that he can still dish out some serious damage.
Lol implying projectile speed means anything. Only time Hanzo loses a fight is because he missed. Its not like anyone can actually see an arrow and react to it and on Hanzo’s side he is still guessing where his enemy is going to be.
Hanzo was not picked before because he lacked consistency. You could have good aim and still miss a good portion of your shots on technicality because of the small size of the arrow, and that’s generally not something people want to happen when they could just play hitscan and have all of their shots land to reward their good aim.
Storm arrow and the short cooldown on his leap are the main issues.
Mccree combat roll - 8 second cooldown, u cant escape any enemy ability with this
Hanzo dash - 4 second cooldown, u can jump out from doomfist ult.
look so balanced
It’s not irrelevant, with his crit he’s doing a damage potential between 70 and 840, without his crit the damage potential is between 100 and 600. So he can still deal damage but it’s not as oppressive as it is now.
Imo that’s not Hanzo’s problem… it’s more like McCree’s…
Genji’s dash can go at least twice the range that Hanzo’s dash thingy can and can also do dmg+has cd reset on kills and assists. (and the cd is 8 sec with the double range).
Let’s not forget Storm Arrow has no movement penalty like normally drawing his bow does. This is precisely why Storm Arrow is such an effective skill against divers. He’s allowed to mid-air dash and jump around while using the skill.
When you fight Hanzo you aren’t trying to outplay him, you are just hoping he misses. Hanzo pretty much has the tools to win any match up and any range.
Dude pretty much scares Reapers in close range and McCrees and Soldiers in long range.
They should be when Hanzo’s whole power comes from his main weapon. He has offers nothing outside has arrows, even his sonic arrow is based reliant on his M1.
By this logic Widow’s hitscan weapon shouldn’t be better than Hanzo’s projectile weapon since projectiles are harder to use than hitscan. Truth is it isn’t that simple.
So yes his projectiles should bet he fastest and most damaging, it’s completely logical. No other projectile hero is completely reliant on their main weapon to function properly, they all have more tools outside of it.
I’m not even gonna mention how this thread reeks of salt and that OP pretty much doesn’t want Hanzo being good.
Still I don’t think that’s a reason for Hanzo nerfs but more of one for McCree buffs of any sorts.
They could easily make a passive so his roll ability would be reduced in cooldown by 1 second for each headshot he hits for example. It’s a buff to his mobilty without affecting anything about his kit.
The fact that they didn’t nerf Hanzo gives me hope.
Maybe that means this patch is just focused on Symmetra and the social stuff and there’s a real balancing patch in the works. They didn’t even mention Sombra…
