I’m thinking RoleQueue is going to pull in a lot of new and returning players.

So why not bring them up to speed ASAP.

  1. Killfeed ON by default
  2. Teammate health bars ON by default
  3. Mouse acceleration OFF by default
  4. Press M for an overhead map, that shows:
  • Yourself
  • Healthpack location/sizes
  • Spawns
  • Objectives
  • Title/GameMode of Map
  1. Semi personalized tutorial Protips in chat when you die.
  2. Battlenet Friends list “Notes” to be accessible and editable, in-game.
  3. Maybe some more chat-expansions, like when you type “gg ez”
  4. And if they get really adventurous, something like a ping system, but have it use the 2D icons similar to (Group Up, I need healing). Have it dynamically rotate the icons relative to the angle at which you are looking at the teammate, and the location they pinged. Which allows for something like a Ping system, but way less visually spammy.
