Sensitivity Settings (PS4)

Hey guys, might be a stupid question but it’s something I’ve been struggling with a lot recently. So, when I turn to the right with any hero, my sensitivity is fine. But if I turn to the left, its really slow. I don’t understand why this is happening. Is there a setting I could tweak to increase the speed?

Make sure mouse acceleration is off

Oh, I’m so sorry. I forgot to mention I’m on PS4.

I see this account is PSN. Is your problem on PSN or PC?

If it’s PSN, it may be stick drift, which is a known issue with Dualshock controllers. If you stand perfectly still, does your view drift to the right?

If you’re on Ps4 and if you have a laggy left input, you might have a dead input in your controller.

Usually that means buying a new controller  I ran into that a lot when I played Destiny

But it works fine when I play other games

Sens works differently in every game. Its kinda hard to explain, but sometimes sens can move on a hair-pin trigger, or it moves only if you tilt it completely

Unfortunately, Overwatch is one of those games that has pin-point sens, so it might be registering movement from the pins that aren’t dead, if that makes sense

My suggestion is set your aim smoothing to 96 and then adjust your sens and other aim assist settings from there

To the left, actually. But it doesn’t happen always. And never when I play other games

It’s a controller issue, happened to me a couple months ago but I fixed it by pressing down and rotating the sticks each way like:
—>—>
<—<—
—><—
<——>

If that doesn’t work you could try compressed air to blow any dust out of the controller

(If your looking for just flat out higher sens then there is aim smoothing and linear ramping under the advanced settings, but you do sacrifice a bit of control for it)

Maybe your controller has drift?

The same problem happend to me when my controller had drift so I had to buy a new one.

Alright, so it’s either

  1. Drift or dead input that only Overwatch is picking up for now

  2. Dust in the controls like Dreadnaught stated
    or!

  3. Aim ease in being wonky. Try adjusting your Aim ease in to 5 or 6. It looks like this has solved the same problem for a few other users.

Best of luck!

Oh, I kinda get it. I do have a new controller thats still in the box. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to use it but its getting a little difficult to play the game lol. I can’t turn around fast enough to kill people who come from my left

You need to get a new controller. Your stick is junked.

ur controller is broken
