So after using the PSA method, I end up with 1500 dpi and 16.5 sensitivity.
But from what I know of sensitivity (not much though), I fear there might be something wrong in it, cause for most people that would appear extremely high.
So, what d’you think of it, is that too high or, as I feel, the answer is “use what works for you mate, dont care about what the orhers do” ?
Jesus. I’m playing at 400 DPI 12 sensitivity, and that’s high for a shooter. It’s litterally only because I play Tracer a lot, and you need higher sens to fight other Tracers.
I don’t think I’d even be able to move out of spawn with 1500/16.5
I use 16 in game and 400 dpi. Your dpi seems high to me but it also depends what you play. Aim sensitive heros like 76 and zarya most people like lower sensitivity. Winston and rein players can use very high sensitivity and it won’t affect them that much
I’ll try to lower it all down over time but for now, I’ll try with that.
My main mains are mostly Rein and Lucio (and by extension mostly tanks and healers), but as I dont play comp anymore, I play more or less everything now, mostly Doomfist in Deathmatch and Total Mayhem these days.
Anyway, yeah, I’m not too big on hitscans, except Sombra (cause I love her gameplay), but maybe over time I’ll try to reduce it all to see what it’s worth !
If you ever want to play any heroes who require good aim, you’ll be severely limiting yourself with that sensitivity, but it won’t kill you if you’re just playing heroes like Rein.
Correct. But you need it if you are going to duel other Tracers.
If two equally skilled Tracers are in a 1 on 1, the Tracer with higher sensitivity will win. You sacrifice a bit of general tracking, for the ability to duel better.
If it works for you, use it. I play with 400 CPI (still using Intellimouse 3.0) with 10.35 of sens.
If you really want to change your style from wrist only to wrist/arm jump straight into cold water by setting 3.34 (it’s around 5k eDPI, but if you want go for 6k eDPI or 4k eDPI)_
