So, I recently switched over to a new PS4 with new controllers and everything. I log into my account, get everything set-up, and everything seems normal. My sensitivity settings I’ve been using for a while are still here too. But, whenever I play any character, I notice that my sensitivity feels ridiculously off. I have the same sensitivity as my old PS4, and I was able to aim and concentrate on the game just fine, but I’m unable to do the same thing here, despite being on the same sensitivity.
Does anyone have any ideas to why this is happening? My thought was that because I have a new controller, the motion is much freer and more sensitive to touch compared to my controller I’ve had since the PS4’s release that I normally played with, but in all honesty, I have no idea what’s going on.
Try deleting and redownloading OW. Might be some corrupted game data.
Try using your controller in other games too, to rule out if it’s a game bug or if it’s a controller issue.
At WORST, you may need to back up the data on your PS4, then factory reset the system, then restore your data.
If your 100% sure all your setting are the same it could definitely just be the controller. I know some of my really old controllers felt different on the same setting too. I got a new xbox recently and it took a little bit of getting used to as well

Just like with mouse pads, when you clean it your sensitivity changes significantly, so i guess a clean joystick must be the same thing
Its could be the new controller and you’re still breaking it in. It could also be that the newer DualShock 4 controllers support USB input, which means there is less latency compared to Bluetooth when you have it plugged in. I think you have to enable this setting though.
