I have read some articles about whether dpi really matters and Logitech themselves said that a higher dpi causes errors because a certain base dpi of the mouse is being multiplied to achieve higher dpis. for example the base dpi for mice a couple of years ago was 400. So if you wanted to have 800 dpi the mouse would have doubled the 400 dpi to get 800. That is computational work for the mouse, hence the errors i talked about.
So I changed my sens from 800 and 3.5 to 400 and 7.0
Now Im wondering why dont players like carpe (900 dpi) or shroud (450 dpi) play on those „good“ dpis. Are the sensors so advanced that it just doesnt make a difference?

Doesn’t matter. Just stay below 1600dpi and above 400dpi. Sensors are too good now for there to be a difference. People with lower dpi like Shroud generally come from a CS or Quake background. My recommendation is just use 800dpi and stick with it.
