The tank pop is stretched too thin. Fact.
… but also I do feel sometimes I can’t trust anyone but myself to play that vital role.
People mistaken this for an MMR issue all the time. I’m sick of it.

It turns out that putting the responsibility of 2 heroes into 1 while also allowing counterpicking mid match results in that role being a miserable rock paper scissors experience. Shocking, I know.
It can’t even be fixed by buffing tanks either…It’s a format and mid game swap issue. At least one of those needs to be addressed or the tank population will continue to collapse.

Tank being unattractive is not specific to OW, just look at MMOs or mobas, no one wants to play tank either there.
