Seem to be Silenced with no reason why

So,

When I finally came back to play this game after a while I teem to been Silenced.
I can still type in chat but cant seem to talk in voice channels. I also haven’t recieved any emails from Blizzard stating that my account is and why Silenced.
I know its Silenced due to a player telling me I’m Silenced when I asked why no one is in voicechat.

So, If anyone has any idea on how to help that would be great… :smiley:

This sounds like your audio devices aren’t configured properly.

If you are indeed under some penalty, you’d have to discuss it with the staff in a ticket.

Hello Nicole.

It seems to have nothing to do with my audio devices. But I cant seem to join team voice chat in competitive play. When I noticed that it happened 2 games in a row I asked why no one joined voicechat and a player stated that I might have been Silenced.

It also seems like it only happends in Competitive play. I can join and talk in the Quick Play team chat

I have not recieved any email of this happening and have no idea on how to make a ticket.

Not seeing any penalties on the account, current or past. Whatever is going on is likely related to software or settings. I normally suggest starting off by resetting the game settings to default using the in-game menu.

If there’s still a problem after that go ahead and grab a DxDiag so we can further investigate the problem. Here are the instructions:

  1. Press Windows Key + R.
  2. Type DxDiag and press Enter.
  3. In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
  4. Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save
  5. Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the DXDiag. It’ll look like this:
