Is it me… but it seems like they don’t try “hard”. Never with gold medals, sometimes claiming MY team is smurfing….

I can tell you this for sure, 95% of the matches that I see in “unranked to GM” streams are a complete cake-walk compared to hard stuck accounts. I can tell what level of play they’re going up against and the matchmaker is for sure putting them in the smurf queue and giving them super easy matches. Every once in awhile the matchmaker tests them with a tougher match but for the most part the opposition is a joke.

A GM+ player is playing in below GM, of course its easy. IF you had similar skill, you would also notice that when playing, but of course you are nowhere near that level…

Some truth to this because I never see them get those teams that seem to die on cooldown every 10 seconds or so where you can’t do anything. I do see them lose on occasion and think it’s funny when it happens but even those losses are usually close games and I never saw the GM get completely rolled. In fairness I can’t really say that I have watched a ton of those streams either.
It’s hilarious that some people can’t see it. These guys doing unranked to GM are demonstrating nothing more than the smurf queue that exists in most modern games now. It’s a party trick.
That being said, it’s only fair to mention that you must have high skill to even trigger the smurf queue, as well to stay in it all the way to GM.

The prerecord the matches while their friend que at the same time to boost/compromise teams while they pretend to play a recording while they go live…
I mean… technically its possible
