Can we PLEASE have different heroes featured in the battle passes. Mei, Rein, Kiri, Venture, Orisa, Doom, Tracer, Mercy. Same characters always getting the skins in the store, in the season just about every time. Other characters need skins too. Need to spread it out to other characters, there are plenty that are never seen hardly ever. (Junkrat especially) This also includes Mythics and weapons, same toons all the time. I’ve been playing since launch, and it has become horrible when new content comes out with everthing being towards the same 6 or 7 toons.

They aren’t going to magically stop giving the majority of new skins to the heroes that the majority of players actually play and buy things for. Skins are a product. Products are produced based on supply and demand. Most skins are going to go to popular heroes, the end.

People that have other mains than the elite select play and spend just as much as anyone else. If people support a game and spend money, they should be able to get rewarded just like anyone else no matter what character they play. Part of the reason OW2 is struggling against other games out there is because they have secluded themselves to only supporting parts of their fanbase which is losing them plenty. It gets boring not having anything new battle pass after battle pass, so lets forget people who play any other character? PLENTY of people would spend money for skins outside the elite select.

im not sure venture fits in there, i think she has only gotten 1 paid skin prior to this season? i know blizz gave away a skin or two for her with drops, but she defs doesnt have a lot of skins lol
No, you’re just projecting your own anger and saying it’s why the game is struggling. Appealing to the massive silent majority of players who want Rein/Kiri/Mercy/Ana/Genji/Widow/Ashe/etc. skins is not killing the game, it’s making the game a buttload of money to fund new content

Considering that they have the sales figures, I can confidently say that they are not spending as much. I can pretty confidently say Kiriko Legendary 17 will outsell whatever Bap skin they come out with, and by a not insignificant margin.

it’s called a unconscious bias. it’s something this dev team has struggled with for the last few years and one of the few plague’s causing this games slow demise. The dev team has specific hero’s they want to always shine and be on the front of the game cause they think it sells their game better when it doesn’t…so they leave other hero’s to stagnate for years and are basically ‘troll’ picks. it even shows in how they dished out perk’s.
This game will never be at the height it should be/ should have been due to unconscious bias in the dev’s.

Im not angry, I am voicing an opinion that other characters need skins in the rotation. I never said it was killing the game, I stated that it was hurting the game, the only income OW2 has is in store content, and right now it is failing to make as much as it could if they would cater to all players and not.
SKINriko, Tracer, Mercy, c’mon, we all know why they do it.
This is the first ever BP skin for Venture, and she got a BP skin before Juno, which is surprising, but its fair cuz Venture released before Juno.
If they put a whole BP with the 5 Legendary skins going to, lets say, Torb, Sym, Zarya, WB, and Winston, its probably not going to sell well. (and we all know why)

Junkrat has around 30 skins already. Kiri has like 15. What’s your point?

SKINriko released at OW2 launch. She has about 15 LEGENDARY skins, NOT counting recolors.
Junkrat was one of the OG heroes at OW1 release. He has about 13 LEGENDARY skins, NOT counting recolors.

Only because he has been in the game since launch in 2016. You can’t compare how many to a character that hasn’t been out as long. Just because he has been in the game longer doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get new content. Orisa, Rein, Mei, Tracer… how many skins do they have compared to Kiri? A lot more right? They still get to see spotlight more than a lot of the others is all I am saying

Actually, she has 19, while Junkrat has 15. Given the pick rate for each, I think things are balanced. Also, It’s funny how every season people complain, but if we look at the battle pass and the “list of favorites” only kiri, mei and orisa will get a skin this season. And we forget about Zarya, Lucio, Hanzo and Torb.
Oh, and another funny thing is that we complain now that we have lootboxes full of skins. Fun.

Mei has 30 - she has the most skins, I don’t understand why, maybe someone in the dev team really loves her.

BTW, Sigma, an “old” hero, has only 19 skins. While Sojourn, already has 16. So no, it doesn’t matter how old a hero is.
So your point isn’t even valid. First you state she doesn’t have skins, now you say she has more. They need to have new content/skins for other characters. I’d like to see other characters that myself and others enjoy that are put on the back burner get some love and new content.
