Recently decided to get back into OW and noticed we’re at the tail end of the current battle pass. If I purchase the ultimate pass for $60 AUD (that’s a full price game btw) I can knock off 20 levels out of 80. Mathematically it seems very unlikely to unlock it all by the end…
So at the end… it all just gets revoked? Do you continue to unlock items on the store later? or do you have to pay AGAIN for them??
You keep any items you’ve unlocked. Anything you didn’t unlock won’t be unavailable for who knows how long (they have yet to bring back something from previous passes besides the mythic skins).
Thanks for the reply. Have they ever said if they ever will bring things back? I have to wonder why the pass even continues to sell when you literally cannot complete what you’re paying for…
They haven’t said. Also, buying the premium pass (either alone or in the ultimate bundle) does grant a +20% boost to leveling it, so it is very possible to complete as long as it’s started early. Like you’ve said, at this this point in the current season it is very unlikely to finish it, so if you plan to spend money for an ultimate bundle, then you’d get better value waiting for the next season to arrive and buying it then.
