The trailer will come at Feb 7th but i wonder what kind of champions it could refer to. D.Va being on the thumbnail might just be because her being a gamer is the most appropriate for showing the new Comp rank coming that season.
It still doesn’t mean that gaming champions are out of question. In this case D.Va might be the one to get the mythic.
It could refer to champions of sports which would mean Zarya has a chance to get a mythic.
Champions of an arena is still something i can see being a theme. Something that would fit for a Doom mythic.
Or, well, a theme about medieval or ancient champions.
Whatever the case, i don’t see any of them fit to the already told seasonal themes though.
What do you think the “Champions” could refer to as a theme? Who do you think would have the biggest chance to get a mythic?

In theory it should be a support by release but they’ve stated in the past that mythic skins come down to which ever one they have finished so a consistent release based on role isn’t guaranteed
I would be okay with both of them. I would like to see how they would change on Pilot D.Va for a mythic and Zarya needs an actually good looking skin. Alien is the only one and we all know the story of that skin…
I would still be happy if its a colossal champion theme as well for Doom. A Last Man Standing arcade mode for it and stuff like that.
Given the past few mythic skins that have been released, I wouldn’t get your hopes up for a decent mythic. It’ll probably only have like 6 total options for customization. If that.
Unfortunately it won’t be Mercy… the theme of “Champions” doesn’t fit her… we’ll keep waiting forever and she’s one of the most popular heroes, it’s meaningless.
Of the mythic will be Mercy. It will be a recolor of Winged Victory Mercy where you can select between one of two hairstyles. They’ll make approximately $2B off of battle pass sales and tier skip purchases on day one.
