Tldr: Tanks need to be more lethal to attract more DPS players to the role. Tanks also blow up too easily from headshots. But the lethality should be situationally useful, ideally at close range, and give more outplay potential. Also less “Tank shoots other Tank all the time”. Also, as seen with Kiriko, more damage on headshots is a more respectable way to boost damage.

So I think a pretty easy fix for Tanks is just to give them +30% more damage on headshots.

But give Tanks 50% headshot resistance. (I.e. Instead of 2.0x, it’s 1.5x, but Tank vs Tank it’s 1.5x * 1.3x = 1.95x)

Then significantly increase the spread on Orisa/Mauga

Zarya gets beam Headshots at 1.5x

And Rein, make it default movement speed with Barrier down, faster. But maybe reduce it back down to current speed with Barrier Up. Maybe landing a firestrike refunds a few seconds off cooldown.
