Screen capturing software stops working on Overwatch 2 upon joining a match. Programs such as OBS only display a black screen instead of the game, and Nvidia Shadowplay disables itself. This does not happen when entering the Practice Range though, but once the issue starts it persists throughout all of the game’s time open until i reboot it, and then the problem repeats when joining a match.
I am aware of a band-aid solution for OBS being to use Capture Game rather than Window Capture, but that doesn’t solve the issues regarding Nvidia Shadowplay or even being able to take a simple screenshot. I also heard about this being an anti-cheat issue, but I never done anything malicious in this game to warrant triggering that.
Anyone else know whats up with this, or are aware of an actual fix for this issue?
