Is it going to be fixed or do we have to put up with Hanzo spamming the most frustrating ability until his rework?

It’s 8 seconds like Hog’s hook, is it really spamming?
I can accept people saying Junkrat Spamming/Pharah spamming or even Blink Spamming.
I’ll accept calling it Scatter Spam if you also say Hog’s Hook is Spammable as Hook has a bigger hitbox than Scatter Arrow.

they said they are thinking of fixing it, but they might just let it stay. so no answer yet…
@Doc Hogs hook requires more aim, doesn’t one shot and can be countered with Zarya shield for example.

The issues has been posted in the forums days ago and should be known to the devs, and yet they did not fix it in today’s patch. Gonna avoid comp until they fix it.
Hook has a stun, a bigger hitbox, can displace, is more consistent and can hit targets above you.
Geoff Goodman said the buff was a mistake and they might keep it since the rework is coming soon.

Hooks stun is so short tracers can recall or genji can deflect depending on ping.

Yes it displaces but you can survive it with team work or good ping.
“Hook” and “consistent” don’t ever belong in the same sentence.
If you get hooked off of high ground or out of the air while playing pharah then that’s your fault.

They decided to keep it because they will remove it very soon anyway. Maybe they will put Hanzo rework on PTR this or next weak.
8 seconds can hardly be considered spam. Unlike you want to say that most heroes spam their abilities.

The stun time is long enough to complete the combo. Ping too high? Well that’s just too bad, shouldn’t be balancing around spotty connections. Maybe go practice on bots or something.
Hook is consistent compared to scatter - even slight elevation or a pebble will completely mess up how the arrow scatters. It’s more consistent in not just hitting but -getting picks-
Have you never seen pharahs getting hooked? Lol it happens even in OWL. Rare, but that it happens means it’s possible and still a plus point for hog.
Verticality is always a plus. There’s no arguing against that.

Genji deflecting hook is working as intended though.
8s isn’t even that bad compared to getting stunned every 5 seconds.

It’s hanzo’s last hurrah with scatterarrow so thats why I think they’ll leave it until the rework.
How can people say 8s is fine when it can oneshot tanks without even aiming at them?
You mean only two tanks.
He can’t one-shot without Mercy or Zenyatta.
More free ult charge from Hanzos the better since your average one does nothing but feed anyway.
