#SaveBrig - We have not forgotten Brigitte!

Hello.
I had a break from the Overwatch forums for a week.
During this time, no changes to Brigitte were made. And I find this unacceptable.
We, the community, have provided great amounts of feedback, improvement ideas, even played the PTR more than ever to show you the reason why the changes made were a bad decision!

And yet. You ignore it. You ignore the players who put money in this game, time and effort, and for god’s sake, the players who love this game and it’s characters, you just decide to ignore them!

While Overwatch community is definitely among one of the worst I have seen, there are great exceptions. People who care, who put effort into defending what they like and effort into trying to make the game better.
You ignore them.

But, what do I know? Maybe you’re working on a rework? Heh, I doubt so. After all this time, none of your people even mentioned something about Brigitte. Heck, you even forgot to include ‘Dev Comments’ on her changes!

Everyone knows that Brigitte is not good at this point. And we demand that she will be fixed. I had a break from these forums hoping that, people will keep this subject alive. And while that is somewhat happening, it’s sinking to the bottom. And I won’t let that happen. If my favourite character is going to become a forgotten GOATS part in the overwatch history, then I’ll fight to make sure that will not happen.

This post is just to show how unhappy I am with what’s happening to my favourite hero and not about hero balance.

So… spread the word: #SaveBrig. Please.

Hashtags end with nothing but problems…

I love brig but a hashtag will only make people resent her more (see #reworkmercy and how people hate mercy and mercy players more because of it

That’s what I’m kinda looking forward. Make sure Brigitte will not be forgotten!

I mean… Hashtag delete Brig worked. So you need a Hashtag to undo the damage, imo.

That’s a fair point. However I don’t think that delete brig was the only reason for her nerfs.

They probably just wanted goats gone

Forced 222 would inherently killed goats regardless. This change was specifically for 222. It was to kill her for 222. Why? I genuinely have no clue as I am obviously joking about delete Brig. But, like, on the surface, that is legit the only logical explanation.

I actually enjoy the playstyle of the new brig.

I think she really needs either a buff to the shield or self healing though.

Getting both heavily nerfed at once makes her one of the most susceptible healers to dive, which goes against her entire design in the first place.

I am just saying, maybe these things are linked in some way.

They are ignoring people who care, people who provide objective feedback and people who know what they’re talking about.
No, those posts aren’t lost. They’ve been on the top of the forums for days.

sorry I was trying to say that the devs ignoring the feedback is what seems to make it reach more toxic levels. can see if you saw it the other way around.

You know what? I don’t even care anymore if those posts are a little bit toxic or not. If #DeleteBrig worked, then why should we be polite and decent, if it obviously doesn’t work? We are objective, and the feedback is right. Toxicity is just going to increase the severeness of this issue. And that’s what we need!

The OW devs don’t need convincing. Those Brig changes stem from malice, not ignorance.

Well if that were entirely true, we wouldnt even be in this mess in the first place.

They can be “convinced” if the issue is large enough. They won’t have a choice.

Brig mains will need to rely on flexing more, but still be optimal, to climb will most likely mean to switch to best optimize and go against enemy comps

Brig is fine, but being a good support main means working with your team, team work requires some sacrifices, even letting go of your favorite hero at different points.

It will be far easier to climb as support by being proficient in all, you do have small pool to work with.

DPS role queuers will appreciate you more by working with them since they have a largr pool to flex around in order to do their job

You think we can’t play any other characters or what? I’m sorry, but my point which I want to prove is that’s she so bad she’s practically not even in that hero roster, and I want that to be fixed!
Oh, also, don’t believe me? Go check out the hundreds, if not thousands of posts detailing this issue. Including mine.

Brig is still good, but you shouldnt pick her all the time as there is no 2 other supports who can share healing with you.
