This is my feeling entirely.
The point is not that I don’t understand why they are playing goats. Trust me, I do.
The point is that for an e-sport that is supposed to be entertaining to watch, it simply isnt. A normal game night consists of what, 16 maps played. So 16 games of basically the same comp and same team fights, over and over again.
I don’t care if it’s meta. It gets stale after the first two maps.
Let’s hope Stage 2 breathes some new life into the meta.
True, watching only goats is getting boring after 6 weeks of it… hopefully Stage 2 will be every hero used, due to all the changes. I expect Doomfist and Hammond dive for instance, since Hammond’s changes makes his survival rate far more better.
That grav was amazing
Get ready for a 9-8 Horizon.
Hammond and doomfist are nasty together. I mean, played in the same comp.
That was the Philly I expected to be seeing. I expected this to be a back and forth semi with the 2 impossible to split
I DEFINITELY see Hammond making more appearance with those changes.
He’s interesting to watch if someone is good with him(don’t like playing against him though )
Classic Goats!
I just want Roadhog to be meta again
I Was Just about to write ”oh nice, some hammond and Sombra finally”
But then they changed into goats before the door opened, again. Lol
You can’t expect teams to take too many chances in a playoff system, so this is the wrong place to complain about it. I mean, even Dynasty couldn’t get anything out of the “variety” of using Sombra.
Best you can expect is showboating.
On the first map it saw play time in OWL on as well. Everywhere else Brig was played in Stage 4 didn’t see GOATS
Now Zen Goats again.
Why isn’t he? Is it because he’s “Ult charge”, as some say…or is there another reason?
I actually thought up a nasty dive-ish comp… Hammond, Doomfist, Dva, Pharah, Mercy, Baptiste. Baptiste has mobility to get to high ground quickly, so he can keep up with Doomfist and Hammond. But Mercy is there as a back up to rush to either of their aids. But even then, Baptiste throws the immortality field where they dive too, so they protected long enough to do massive damage, and then they both have abilities to quickly back out if needed, but by then the rest of the team catches up, and they roll the enemy team. In theory.
Usually only paired with Orisa comps. The Halt+Hook is strong.
I Was Just about to write ”at least Moira is seeing some play time” but they changed her off before I reached my phone lol
Was that a mini C9 or was Brig booped off?
