I am trying to watch these games and enjoy them, but the endless identical mirror matches are just so god damn dull.
And before you chime in with ”but what about Pharah on the previous game”, please don’t. Having another comp than goats played for less than two minutes in about two hours worth of playtime doesn’t really count.

Fusion got lucky that Atlanta threw on Kings row and Route 66, other than that they haven’t really shown that much this season other than an early win when Atlanta just go into the league which went 3 - 2

I’ve watched enough goats this year to make my eyes bleed goat blood
“Goats is so boring” Uh, it is actually a skill based comp, you need a massive amount of team work to execute it properly… if one person is out of sync, it collapses very quickly.
I can enjoy some GOATS, but honestly this meta is the most oppresive of all metas yet in OWL. There literally isn’t anything else you can really play. And I also miss some of the DPS plays, although I don’t have to see a new widow pick meta.
The rest of this series is certain. Time to practice some UNIST while I half pay attention.
It being skill based, doesn’t mean it can’t be boring as well.

I liked Carmine when I first started playing, but I feel I don’t use him as well as I want.
As a whole though…I have much to learn.
Yes it takes an enormous amount of skill and coordination to pull it off.
So does building bridges. Doesn’t make it interesting to watch…
On a serious note, if I would have seen a goats comp played during last season’s dive meta I would have been thrilled.
The point I am making is that if only one identical comp is played literally 95% of the time then it becomes boring, plain and simple.
No matter what comp and what meta, but mirror match after mirror match is super boring. Hard to get excited seeing a trans into a diva bomb into a grav from both teams at the same time for the 50th time today.
This is it yeah. It’s not that GOATS is boring, it’s that watching nothing BUT GOATS is boring.
