You have done NOTHING to fix the problems of this game Blizzard, and somehow only made things dramatically worst with your cowardice to address numerous major issues that are ruining both the game its community.
People have complained about the horrible amount of cheating regarding KB+M on console (which you said yourself is in fact against your TOS on numerous occasions), but instead decided to match them with PC players? A big issue is that your incompetence couldn’t even identify blatantly obvious XIM users, and so now you think these users are suddenly going to be found out and matched with those of us on PC? As if we want them with us? Are you serious? You’re slapping a bandaid on something that is way out of your league, and hoping people wouldn’t notice. But, no. It’s clear as day. And not only that, let’s keep in mind that people use mice on console to gain an advantage against controller in 99.9% of scenarios. Not for accessibility reasons. So, what exactly is your real motive here?
You did NOTHING to address the issues with: Sombra, Doomfist, Wrecking Ball, Roadhog, Widowmaker, Freja, Sojourn, and Ana ruining the game due to garbage balancing. But, instead somehow made things worse by going and nerfing the wrong heroes.
You did NOTHING addressing the trolls and griefers, who go and throw in people’s games. Ultimately ruining the experience of the game as a whole. But, you still have “Leaver Penalties” in Quickplay and Arcade matches. Forcing players to endure their bs, or take penalties from not wanting to be subjected to neither trolls or your heavily flawed matchmaking.
And on the topic of matchmaking, you somehow made that even worse. Here’s an idea. Stop making blog posts to gaslight people into thinking how your matchmaking works, and actually introduce genuine SBMM (skill-based matchmaking). Because no, you’re not doing that. And you have repeatedly lied about how your matchmaking works for years on end, and only when called out enough by enough big names call yourself addressing some flaws that somehow got overlooked.
We aren’t falling for your lies Blizzard. Stop telling lies, and gaslighting your players. And give us a properly working system that pairs players together. Because no, we don’t believe you. And the proof is right there for ANYONE who does play your game at what it is that you’re really doing.
You have done NOTHING to deal with the amount of people who sit there, and harass people day in and day out in the text and voice chats. Saying some of the most horrific and hateful things to people with no consequence at all, but you can go and punish someone for asking somebody to switch. Or for telling them to stop throwing. Again. The problem is NOT going away. It never has gone away. And nor will your toxicity problem go ahead, until you stop being so obsessed with your public image (which is already ruined by gamers for the most part across PC and console), and money. And actually take the time needed to give people a quality atmosphere and environment that encourages players for being kind to each other. And for calling out malicious players, and those partaking in bad behavior in your lobbies. Or in other words, finally weeding out the trolls and griefers looking to gain amusement at the expense of another player’s game experience.
