What’s with the extremely noticeable decline in quality with the seasons.
Widow has arguably one of the worst Mythics in the game next to Orisa
Majority of the S13 skins are recolors
No exciting events
What gives?

Am I the only one who actually likes her Mythic? It’s not a Top 3, but it’s def better than many others.
Well yea, they lost so many staff recently.
Actually that PvP with probable PvE scrapped content sounds fun compared to the other seasons garbonzo modes we keep getting.

So let me back up. You are talking about a general decline in quality and your example is the s8 (5 seasons ago) as the worst. That would seemingly imply there isn’t a decline and perhaps the mythic just isn’t to your taste. Half of them aren’t to mine as well so I get it.

I am really confused on why they made her a witch. A spider queen would be way more fitting and it fits both her theme and the season’s theme.

Lets be honest… you just dont like the season, because you dont like the Widow mythic skin. The rest of the season looks fine, but the skins in general suck and make it appear to be “bad quality season”.
What was wrong with Reaper’s mythic? I thought it was quite good.

WRONG! You’re just being too picky when it comes to Mercy skins.
Her mythic is nowhere being ugly. Orisa is the real ugly mythic in the list.
Because they know that an Agatha All Along season theme appeals to a modern audience but not a general audience, and though they like to also appeal to a modern audience, they tend to devote less resources to it, when they do so
I really like the base form of the mythic skin. The “upgraded” versions look pretty bad but the base one is super good.

The game industry is kinda holding it’s breath until the outcome of the US Election.
Mostly because whatever the outcome is, it’s gonna cause a lot of temporary market instability. So a lot of bigger investments are “on hold”.
I don’t really expect the gaming market to really pick up until about February 2025.
But Overwatch is also gonna need to have a strong response to the December 2024 release of Marvel Rivals.
Which they might counter by having “6v6 is back”, and also “Overwatch is back in China” launch like a week after that, or before that.
Either way, we’re in the calm before the storm.
Honestly, Orisa was lowkey saved by Gilded Dreams. The other colors are nice, but dipping her booty in gold differentiates it heavily from her base Arataki Beetle Brawler cosmetic.
The widow skin is uninspired but I like some of the other S13 skins. The Juno MHA skin look amazing.
I think Reaper’s mythic is one of the best, but having most of the skin effects and details on the final tier makes it feel a lot less customizable. I wish they’d stop trying to do the upgrading mythic tiers.
