what are the rules on using profanity on voice chat assuming there are rules?
You can swear in VC just don’t say anything reportable (i.e offensive language/insults/slurs) unless you wanna risk it.

I’m fairly certain that Blizzard wants to keep it PG on the profanity. If you put profanity into text chat, it filters it. Profanity in both text chat and the forums can get you banned. I don’t think voice chat is any different if your teammates want to report you.
sure, I’ve used profanity in both voice chat, and text chat, but i’m never overboard. I’ve seen players use the c word and the n word in text!

I report it as abusive chat. No reason to use that kind of language when playing with people you don’t know.
This ain’t your Christian Minecraft server, there’s nothing against cussing in voice or chat. There is a filter for profanity in chat.

There is nothing against “cussing” but there IS a rule against “language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.”
Also, the filter is a precaution, not permission to use the filtered words.
