Rule of Thumb for Mercy complaints

If you ever see a Mercy complaint, mentally reduce the amount by about 50%.

For example:
“Mercy is so overpowered and ruining the game!!” = “Mercy is now usable or even strong and functioning the way she is supposed to be”

Why? Because for some reason, everyone, and I mean literally everyone, everywhere, from forum posts to Youtube comments seemed to collectively decide to hate on this hero for no reason and completely over-exaggerate the strengths.

(Like the default community insult towards someone is to call them a Mercy main.)

Anyways once you go do that, you’ll be able to filter out the useless posts from the useful ones.

Of course, there haven’t actually been USEFUL Mercy complaint posts since like 2018…so…

The problem with Mercy is it is not fun to heal while not being able to effectively damage. She would be more viable if she had actual damage options.

facts. they will hate you because you speak the truth.

Naw. Her healing is kinetic and fun. Her mobility is where the enjoyment lies, and enabling your allies to make plays.

yeah, not really…
when you have a character which requires very little mechanical input and gets rewarded twice as much as those who needs that mechanical skill… then there is a balance problem
not to mention the other powerful aspects of her kit

Of course it would be you making such a ridiculous statement.

how is the statement ridiculous?
please don’t say it just is because you don’t agree with it
the game just shouldn’t fully reward players by holding down or switching 2 mouse buttons and ocasionally pressing E key, that’s all

even someone said “Oh look its the mercy pfp” to me lmao

Sounds like you’ve never played mercy then.

Seeing more Mercy complaints lately…

I agree anyone that says all mercy does is sit around a corner and hold m1/m2 probably hasn’t played much mercy. The fun and enjoyment of playing mercy comes from being elusive.

ngl her movement seems like alot of fun, but holding down m1 and m2 isn’t. The things you could do with valk as a dps :open_mouth:

LOL YOU KILL ME AHAHAHAHA

Valk sucks, I like it because it’s fun… but it’s sucks compared to other ults. It’s good to chase down Widowmaker though…

50% “I can’t ignore the enemy Mercy anymore, plis nerf”.

Yes, they should reward those who flick mouse and click M2+M1, this is :arrow_right: :arrow_right: :arrow_right: :star2: skill :star2: :arrow_left: :arrow_left: :arrow_left:.

Hold M1 = no skill.
click M2+M1 = ultra instinct singulary levels of skill.

 :unamused:

The difference between skill and no skill: a mouse button.

Who needs mechanical skill then in the support category?
