Rotating sideways

Is there an easy way to make the hero rotate to the left/right using set or start facing that takes into account the current pitch?

Set facing to (1,0,0) for right or (-1,0,0) for left, it needs to be local

But it has to be based off the current facing direction

That’s why it needs to be local, not to world

I’ve tried this, but the y-facing goes down to 0

Then you set set to (1-(y comp of facing direction of event player), Y com of facing direction of event player, 0)

Same problem, but this time y-facing goes all the way up if its above 0

My bad, set X to (1 - absolute value of y comp) or [1 - (absolute value of y comp *-1)]

Both dont work, first one goes all the way down or up, second one just centers on 0 again
