It’s boring and meaningless. Winning a whole match without even dying once. What’s the point? And the “matchmaker” makes matches like this too often. It’s not satisfying. It’s just an insult to the players.
Depends, if I manage to get 0 deaths with like 20+ kills on comp in gm lobbies then that just means I played perfectly. If we are talking quickplay rolls then meh, I don’t really care. I don’t care about getting rolled, I only care when people rather rage quit and leave instead of switching and trying to do better. Nothing annoys me more than sore losers.
Honestly, the No1 reasons stomps even happen are people playing heroes into nonsense they shouldn’t even be playing. When people actually make swaps its hilarious to see how much more of a stiff resistance they pull out.
No, it means the matchmaking is awful and the enemy team never stood a chance. You might have also played “perfectly” as well, but it is relatively easy to play well in those lobbies.
If you are getting rolled in QP as a GM, that also showcases the problem the other way around.
Or it means matchmaking was bad.
I’d rather lose a good game (yes, even in comp at high ranks) than go 20-0 and win in a stomp.
They’ll never do this though because people have attachment issues and they want to be the hero. They don’t get that it’s a game and they need to detach themselves from the fantasy to win.
I am not going to 10 spends minutes in a running simulator because I have 0 - 5 dps because I might disappoint you. Idc if its QP, getting farmed is a waste of time.
And I’d play ranked more if I didn’t have 5+ queues.
OW is not healthy rn, stop excusing it
Most of the time it isnt. Its just people with weak mentality and near zero versatility.
The moment they get triggered, quit. The moral of their team goes down, and then the rolling starts.
All it takes is a couple of lucky shots when pushing first attack. Is ridiculous how often it happens and no, most of the time is NOT the MM. But like we all know, its easier to deflect blame on team mates and MM.
What a ridiculous take. Matchmaking is bad right now.
“It’s just people with weak mental” is one of the silliest, ego driven nonsense statements I’ve heard in a long time.
Poor matchmaking has been one of the biggest frustrations in the game since OW2 launched.
Sometimes that’s the case, but most of the time I’d say it’s not, unless it’s on Push. Those maps are extremely difficult to make comebacks from a long push on one side. So disproportionately I’d say Push suffers the most from leavers and people who play lackadaisically because they think they’re gonna lose anyway, but every other mode isn’t that bad.
fake wins. fake losses. the only place that isn’t rigged is practice range.
I think it isn’t only about mm. It seems 5v5(one very stronk tank) is more prone to a stomping game than 6v6 imo.
Overwatch is like thermodynamics, fun cannot be created out of thin air, it comes from the misfortune of others
wants good matchmaking but doesnt want to wait for it, you cant be serious right?
well it also doesn’t help if one of teams tanks is better or just throws at least if there were two tanks you could get two chances instead of one wiener being a butthead.
If this is about quickplay, I have another complaint. Sometimes, I just wanna relax by playing mercy or lifeweaver. But it’s hard to “relax” when your MMR is so high from playing the role too often. Which results in me having to swap to meta supports just to not get rolled by the enemy team, who are equally skilled as me on support.
I guess I could make a new account, but I can’t be bothered buying a new SIM card just to practice new support heroes.
if someone isnt dyign they are lucky or just skilled like ive had matches before that i havent died at all but i know rolling isnt fun
The crazy part is you don’t even need a phone number to make a new account that plays OW2.
hows that possible? i thought you needed one
Sorry the truth triggers you my dude but that is reality.
No one is saying MM is the best but claiming that OW players don’t deflect blame like theres no tomorrow is one of the most fragile ego driven takes Ive ever seen and unironically, proves my point so thanks I guess.
Players deflecting blame and rage quitting has been one of the biggest issues in the game since 2016 so yeah, in OW2 just happens more often.
