When I started playing OW ranks in MM were really conservative. You would see a Master player in diamond if you would reach maybe 3450
you would see a GM player when you were around ~3900 or at maximum ~3800.
And you would see top 500 once you are around 4200 (my peak when I was still caring a lot about the game and Tracer was annihilating everything). But lately it is feeling more awkward.
I have literally games where I play with Diamond, Master and Top 500
or
Master, Diamond and Platin. I play at the same times as always (not 3am in the morning, because having a MM like described above would not surprise me because there are just not many players on). It seems to get worse and worse.
Are the top ranks breaking apart, what is going on. Is it just me?

I’ve been getting tanks 2 ranks away from me, or as tank being put in games where I’m over 500 SR above or below everyone else for a few seasons.

The game is sleeping, not dying, no no, just resting its eyes.

Matchmaker stretching so hard to get a game going it looks like

didn’t they say they banned 10000 hacker accounts? Guess it might have destroyed MM.
QP has been a clown fiesta for a long time, at this point I am not convinced there is actually match making at all, just take 12 and throw them together, screw it gogo.

Blizzard allows players to duo below GM with almost 2 ranks away from each other. Next thing is, the number of tankplayers are pretty low, so one match u can face a masters tank, next match u are in a low diamond, high plat match as a diamond player, aspiring to climb being nearly halfway through.
Especially tanks are pretty scr***d in this case.
IKR? Feels like one match I’ll be playing with and against people that have never played OW in their life, than the next match I might as well be a bronze in a see of top 500, the variation is so extreme its honestly kind of annoying.
