If you make it too complex it will be just as inconvenient as LFG. Not to mention the queue times will be horrendous if there are so many subcategories. Simplicity is key.

While it is true you will have weird comps with overlapping one-tricks for example, it’s still gonna be much better than entirely random matchmaking. Currently it’s a 50-50 coinflip every game. With a system as simple as I described in my post its prolly gonna be noticably better.

Locking players into a role will backfire as soon as you need an odd comp to counter the enemys line-up.
