If you don’t have phones you can do yoga, feed your dog or go studying!

Also didnt’ you play MMO games? DPS can have up to 1 hour queue time there!
Nobody cares, that MMO let you do other stuff in game while you’re waiting
Role queue is probably the best invention! 12 out of 10, happily would wait another 10 minutes again to backfill into lost match!

Your forgot to say that after the LONG waiting time, the game only lasts for about 6 minutes at max even in comp

No thanks. Why would I waste time with that when I can join a match directly? You should do the same instead of crying.
Which doesn’t really work if you’re a duo who plays tank/supp and if you want once in a while to pick dps you wait for more than 10 minutes for a game that lasted half of it. Just because you wanted to change a bit.
And we can’t have any real team comp outside of 2/2/2 that worked well and were fun but people were upset about those because the “meta” was lasting for too long even though they were below diams where the meta wasn’t even played and if it were they were played so badly that anything could counter it

No thanks. Why would I waste time with queue times, when back then I could press quickplay and have match right away? You should’ve find people you can comfortably play without having 5 DPS in your team, instead of crying for 2-2-2 role lock. You know, like people in other competitive games do.

This isn’t fixing the issue, just masking and ignoring it.
Remove the system if the queue times become long, that’ll fix it.

That’s really funny, how these people are calling DPS players selfish because they wanted to play how they want and in the same time they’re forcing all DPS player into long queue times or forcing them out of the game, because support/tank players want to play how they want. They don’t even see any similarities in their behaviour.

I tried. To be honest, as a flex player I was against role queue. I thought LFG was the right choice.
Problem is… LFG failed. Clear and clean. Like “non-healing support” Sym 1.0 and the whole “defense” class. Nice idea, but didn’t work.
Problems with LFG:
- Language barriers: Dunno about mono-language servers, but here in EU there’s plenty of “only French”, “only Arabian”, “only Spanish” groups. And even “only mic” groups, like what could possibly go wrong if you force an Italian, an Arabian, a Russian, a Spanish, a French and a Greek to speak English together in a fast paced game like this…
- Dictator 12-years old party leaders: “You’re 50 SR below me, kicked!”, “No aim no brain Mercy main, kicked!” (almost don’t play Mercy at all since her rework, but sadly still tons of hours on her…), “Don’t like your accent, kicked!”.
- Queue times overall much longer than roleQ, for all three roles of course. Also, you have to rebuild the whole team at your first defeat. Every time.
- The system can’t recognize REAL 6-stacks and LFG 6-stacks. Imagine playing against 6 long-time friends actually communicating with each others, and you’re with 6 random guys from Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter. Seems balanced…
- Nobody actually used it for QP. And even if you manage to assemble a group for QP, no way to actually train for comp: you’re probably gonna roflstomp enemies because they’re playing 6 DPS with “it’s just QP” mood.
So no, LFG is not the same thing of roleQ. I actually thought LFG was the right thing to do, but things like that can’t work with this community. It has to be FORCED, to make things work.

We are enjoying the games, for what I see in the forums others are the crybabies 
Some people want to play Competitive without Role Lock though and QPC isn’t equivalent to what QP was before the implementation of Role Q.
Some people want to play the roles they like, you know.

No, I really do not enjoy sitting in a Q for 7, 10 or 20 minutes just to play a game that use to take 30 seconds to 1 minute for a Que. The match quality isn’t ANY better and now I have spent 10 minutes waiting for a game.
Most of the time now, I almost miss the start of the match or even get booted for being idle. I left and if que times go to 1 hour. So be it. The forums are more fun to read than playing the actual game
