Don’t fix the bug for the tracking on this challenge.
Instead, split it up into 3 challenges. One for each role. Allow people a little bit of flexibility in how they achieve their 11 weeklies for coins.
I am so tired of being flamed trying to brute force 3 wins in a role I don’t even want to play. It’s not a pleasant experience for me OR my team mates.
If you do insist on leaving this as a 3-in-1 challenge, then at least change it to participation instead of wins.

Agree, it’s tiresome to complete challenges that require you to win matches!
They should change these.
Maybe even make so 1 loss = +1 point; 1 win = +3 points, change 3 wins for 9 points requirement.
I’d be ok to play a role or a character I’m not experienced with even if my losses counted towards progress.
Win requirements are not casual friendly.
Just accumulated another wall of grey losses for a role I have 0 interest in playing.
We already know they have the tech to do something like you suggest, EFR, because the achievements to unlock heroes on new accounts get double progress for a win vs a loss. That would be a good change too.
But ultimately I’d prefer this challenge split up into 3 so that people actually get a little bit of flexibility and can avoid the things that most irritate them.
IT’S EVEN WORSE NOW.It updates only when you finish a set of 1-1-1. If you win 2 games on dps support but no tank it doesn’t show. Wtf please make it games completed not wins ffs.
agree, it’s making the game more toxic if 3 win to complete the challenge
i agree by using point
this is stupid bug
i dont even know which role i stuck now.

Here is a “fix” until patch
Open notepad
Type tank dps supp
After every win put a number on the role that you won
Repeat 8 times
Gg you completed the challenge
It’s stupid but hey i’ve been doing it since season 1 because some people needs half a year to fix something so simple as a god damn counter FFS.
This post isn’t about fixing the role challenge bug or working around it.
This post is about modifying the challenge all together to not require players to queue for roles they don’t want to play repeatedly to brute force wins and to provide players a little leeway in choosing how to pursue their weekly challenges.
