like both d.va and zarya have utility while hog…not so much
Give him toxic fart clouds like the boar bosses from AC Odyssey. Thematically appropriate AOE damage and area denial.
I would like to make it so he feeds less Ult charge, and can bodyblock Rein/Dva ultimates.
Alternatively, make his ultimate reduce enemy ultimate charge.
lol i think a passive where roadhog has a cloud wherever he moves which deals even 1 hp damage per second would be more helpful than nothing, if people are moving around on a point that is decent damage especially if its a huge team fight involving everyone
i always thought he does about 10% damage resist to every teammate in a lucio styled AOE every time he takes a breather, not a huge help but it would still be a help
I think the ult charge is his biggest drawback right now. He can’t always do enough to compensate for how quickly the enemy team farms their ults off him. Maybe a 15% reduction?
I’d say make it so he either feeds a flat 30% less Ult charge.
Or make it so he feeds zero ultimate charge during his take a breather.
Oh, that’d be an interesting idea. They could add an animation where he coughs out a cloud of smoke like in his Halloween highlight intro, and allies who gather in it get temporary damage reduction and passive healing. That’d also encourage people to actually group up (who am I kidding?)
thank you see i like that idea, but i do like the idea of 30% less feeding too another idea i had was when roadhog takes a breather some of the gas spills out(another lucio AOE) and if it hits allies heals them for 40 hp and if it hits enemies it damages them 40 hp) the number is just an example but it could easily turn a team fight because suddenly your entire team has 40 extra hp and your enemy have 40 less hp
that said that sounds wildly OP but as i said numbers can always be adjusted, i do think that animation is a good idea though
overwatch isnt about grouping up
Give him a passive that reduces ult charge he can give by 50%. Its better than nothing.
his main problem is he just feeds too much so i do like this, maybe 50% is a bit too much but i would trial 30-35% and see if that changes much
Would be nice if he had a passive where he did more damage when he takes damage like it fills up a meter, so he could have his 1 shot potential back and have a point of soaking up damage.
while i would like that a lot i dont see them giving him damage back
Damage resistance during Whole Hog would be pretty useful.
Would really love something that makes face tanking better. I really want to be able to block more damage as Roadhog.
i do agree with that but honestly whole hog is a lot better than it used to be so it doesnt bother me too much
Hog needs no buffs or nerfs.
During take a breather, his body should act like a Mei wall, blocking shots and LoS.
