Having a ‘make Eye-Contact and be obliterated’ Ability is the whole thing Roadhog had going for him.
Now all he has left is being fat.
Just cut his Base Health down to 500, his Healing down to 250, maybe reduce his Damage Resistance to 40%, but give him his One-Shot back.
But even as an Aimless Metal Rank, I know 20M is too damn much. Reduce it to 15M or even 10M.

He does need something else. One shot is not it. The game is NEVER fun when one shot heroes are popular. Remove all one shots from the game, outside of ults.
Snipers you can justify. A tank having an easy mode ranged one shot is just dumb.
And give them 700hp + heal?
Yeah he’s not one of the “strong” tank but this combo with his hp + heal make him to strong especialy in lower rank lobby with no coordination to kill him

Yeah I don’t even like or play Roadhog as a character and even I can see him losing his one shot is terrible. It’s his whole identity. Scary killer pig. Now without it he is like a joke, when you see him in a game he just feels like a useless fat waste of space, sad pig.

Remember back in the day people would get tattoos of OW heroes ect? Well it was Hog’s one shot which is why people loved him. Now he is just lame. No-one is getting a tatoo of him anytime soon. Same with Mei’s freeze for example.
You people who think things like Roadhog losing this and Mei losing freeze are good for the game are so short sighted it is just depressing.
No. He doesn’t. That was the whole problem to begin with. The one shot wasn’t on a squishy character who can be flanked. It’s was on a Tank with a ton of HP and a crazy self heal. That’s why people didn’t like it and that’s why he was nerfed.
I would raise my hand and suggest that this may be true but that does not make it any less heinous.
Where is he right now is definitely not okay either but he needs to have another shtick aside from “I pull you and instakill”. Yes DPS can do it - they are problematic as well, but they don’t have a tank’s healthpool.
I wouldn’t say he needs it, per se. But he needs something. Homie just isn’t fun anymore.

It’s pretty telling that now if I’m playing against hog and I get hooked as a super squish like tracer or widow (don’t ask… it happens) I still have a pretty good chance to get away. It really should be a death sentence for a super squish to get yoinked by a tank… but it just isn’t.
I dont agree. Im hog main, and i spent hours in practise to learn every hero hitbox. U still can one shot 85% of 200 hp heroes, u just need rly put a work in this. Hog with hook buff almost in perfect spot right now, only he need just small buff for his team, like breather heals teammates for 50 / 75 hp for 2 sec in small area around hog. Or damage resistant for teammates for 10 / 15 % for 2 sec. Boom - Hog will be in perfect-perfect spot.
