I believe Thor and Jeff the Landshark are releasing tomorrow. It will probably go back up temporarily. I hope Thor is a beautiful display of masculine energy or the game is just sort not appealing to me.

Fact is that all the highest view counts on Marvel Rivals are Overwatch streamers that are using it as an opportunity to have more viewers in streams thanks to people trying to get Twitch Drops. People just click whoever has the highest view counts and just leave their PC or mobile to farm for it. Otherwise they are actual followers of the high view count OW streamers simply watching the streamer they follow play another game while they make some more money from higher view counts.

marvel rivals succed = means ow will getting better because they have competition

if you are ow fans you will also want rivals to succed

also its actually pretty good game

I see it exactly like this. I love Overwatch, been playing it for 7 years and nothing has taken its spot as my only shooter game. But if something more fun came out and I swapped games, that game probably deserved it? Like, we’re not in a marriage with Overwatch it’s okay to like other games or accept that they coexist with Overwatch lmao

Because people are stupid and get offended when a game competes with overwatch. It’s honestly so weird how people here treat overwatch like it’s their baby. They want every new shooter to fail.

When OW1 beta was announced. I played for 2 days straight - no sleep. Played Mercy, Rein.

No sleep. Those were good times. Hanamura map was so epic and exotic. It was like something we never saw.

The drop codes from watching were constantly out of stock. It was a waste of time.

Maybe, start playing other games like the rest of us do.

Now it’s like something we almost never saw,

and not everyone is you, so not everyone will play/watch Marvel Rivals for 2 days straight, no matter how much they may be enjoying the game.

People watched for codes but they were running out so fast it wasn’t worth it. I watched the first day and couldn’t get one.

With how much you follow (and post about) Rivals, I assume you didn’t get a code, and are just mad you can’t play it.

It’s ok, you’ll be able to play it when it actually launches.

I was just surprised as it is weekend 3.45pm PST. I was expecting 100k viewers. i was like wth, did people already jump ship ?!?!

But then I saw path of exile also launched. Ok most are more excited for that game.

Twitch is a marketing tool used by companies. Most streamers get paid to promote a certain game but if people are not watching, how are you going to promote it.

You would then have to rely solely on Steam promotions. or wherever this game will market itself.
