I am so tired of junkrat jumping into the middle of the team, pressing q, spamming left mouse until it goes off, and getting a free 2-4 kills.

At this point his tire is a better Dva bomb. He should die from his tire like before, no point to have the timer on tire if players just detonate it instantly.

Then play better and kill him during the extremely loud and fairly long animation. Junkrat is not a subtle character.

If you let him jump into the middle of team, ULT, and not do anything, you deserve that.
Jumping into an enemy team and ulting in the middle of them is incredibly risky. If he got that off, it’s both on you and the team.

Anyone with any junkrat play knows point blank rip tire is literally the stupidest thing you can do
It only works in lower ranks (bronze/silver/gold, maybe low plat sometimes) where people dont have good gamesense to react to it (not trying to be offensive to low ranks, just beeing realistic)

How do you not just kill him? He has to get in and he’s not very fast, and there’s the time to start riptire?
The area is way smaller.

When I try to jump into the middle of enemy team and ult – in 95 % cases i just get instantly killed and waste the ult without killing anyone.
If you allow him to dive into the middle of your team, ult (it has like 2 second activation time) AND kill someone – sorry to inform you, but your game awareness sucks hard in that case.

LOL how are you getting PvP tired? Just have a brain and shoot him out of the sky, or kill him while hes in the middle of your team and cancel the tire

it already takes ages to even start the tire rolling if you cant kill him in that time you deserve to get teamwiped by it… its not like pharra “press q and insta fire”.
This is like asking for reaper to not start shooting his death blossom until he utters the second “die…”
It probably won’t happen because damage players earn those
Kills by pressing q and would probably riot if pressing q as dps becomes harder to do successfully.

But there’s a cast time…
You can always shoot junkrat before he has time to start his ultimate.
You can even destroy the tire itself before he sends it.
