Rip tire and 2CP still need to be fixed

The previous changes weren’t enough and the whole “just shoot it” philosophy is completely idiotic since it is never that easy unless you are running a Hanzo or a Widow which is never always the case.

Let me explain what happened to me just now.

I flank the enemy team with Reaper, I get two picks, and then I tell my team to go in.

Me being able to get two picks on my own was a result of good awareness of the enemy’s positioning and in the end, I deserved the kills i got.

I see the Junkrat walking out of spawn after he died in the previous team battle to our Rein and seeing that two of his team is dead… he hits Q.

Naturally, I see where he is and I walk up to him and slaughter him. Now, that’s THREE picks. This is on 2CP mind you and we are the attackers.

While the Junk is dead… he gets a double… on our tank and our support.

Literally all the Junk did was run out of spawn in panic, positioned himself terribly when hitting Q, got killed… AND HE STILL PUT OUR TEAM AT A DISADVANTAGE. I get three picks out of pure game sense and all the Junk did was hit Q out of panic and he manages to get almost as much value as me.

That alone is a reason to think Junk’s tire needs to get nerfed again but it wouldn’t be AS disheartening if it wasn’t for it being on flipping 2CP otherwise known as “UCP”. The “U” stands for “Unforgiving”.

I think killing Junkrat should just blow up the tire where ever it was at that moment… He’s dead. He shouldn’t be able to control it.

It actually sounds like the Junkrat used his gamesense to turn the tide of battle.

He walked out of spawn knowing his team is in trouble. He sees a Reaper approaching, and realizes he’s about to get into a fight that won’t help his team. He also realizes that even without the Reaper fight, he can’t make it to the main battle in time to help.

So he opts to activate his ult as it moves much faster than he can, and has a chance of turning the tide if he detonates it in a key position. Letting himself get killed by the Reaper was just part of the cost of winning the team fight.

Panicking and hitting Q upon seeing his team getting killed is not a whole lot of game sense. That’s just cheap.

Yet a simple little hit of a fast-charging ultimate changes the tide of things and that is part of the whole problem my guy.

Getting killed next to spawn is not a huge “cost” of you ask me.

So I use my game sense, awareness, and mechanics to pick off three of the enemy team and the Junkrat only needs to hit Q to get the same amount of value?

Dude, again, that is part of the whole problem.

No, it’s not. It’s an ultimate, it’s supposed to be good for Junkrat but it also gives you a chance to save the day. That’s how the game should be.

People aren’t allowed to use things like ‘tactics’ and ‘strategy’ to win character matchups, it’s supposed to be a guaranteed thing every time regardless of the human interaction element, don’t you know anything?!?!!11!1

And he used his gamesense, awareness, and mechanics to take out two key members of you team, and won a team fight, despite his team being at a numbers disadvantage. Sounds more like a clutch play than a problem.

Exactly, you don’t get the same chance with ults like self destruct. The ult isn’t super fast moving either. They’ve nerfed it’s speed on multiple occasions

Junkrat’s tire speed now is still faster than his tire speed was at game launch. They had to nerf its speed because in the past, they overbuffed it by a ridiculous amount.

Honestly I hate Junkrat, now back to the lying that Junkrat is an awesome team member and most definitely takes the most personal skill to use out of the entire Damage Dealing line up.
