My mouse moves onto my second monitor and cursor becomes visible while the W and CTRL keys are pressed. This has resulted in NUMEROUS alt tabs mid game mid fight that result in me just instantly dying. There is no way there is a keyboard shortcut to bring the cursor up in the engine set to CTRL W of all things, two keys you hit all the time in a game, at the same time, and even while flicking a shot straight off my monitor. Unbelievable. I can’t even disable it, and it doesnt matter if I’m in borderless windowed or fullscreen or anything.
it isn’t an ow or battlenet shortcut, I’m pretty sure that’s a a windows shortcut. ctrl+w is usually close window. Or you could be hitting the windows key by accident while hitting ctrl.
I would try disabling windows shortcuts while gaming and see if that helps. If u google it u will find better and clearer instructions on how to do that than I would give. Or you can try dling autohotkey or something like wkey disabler to disable the windows key while gaming. Most gaming keyboards have software you can download and you should be able to create a profile for gaming which unbinds the windows key. Also, I know a few of them also have a gaming mode setting which disables windows shortcuts while gaming.
