I’ve encountered a reoccurring bug whenever I’m placed in a match on the Rialto map. The match doesn’t load and when I either leave or get kicked due to inactivity, the main menu is completely black and I can’t do anything except restart the game. This is incredibly annoying and I would like to know if anyone else is having this issue.

This has been happening to me on my Xbox. When ever I get this map the loading screen stays on the screen until I get kicked from the game for inactivity. And once I’m kicked I just get brought to a black screen.

I have made multiple posts over the past two days regarding this. I’m up to a total loss of 400 sr due to this bug and I am verging on a season ban.
This needs to be addressed, I suggest replying to this this read with a #metoo if this game-breaking bug has happened to you.

It’s fine. Let’s make this the official post. I’ll continue to check throughout the day to keep this near the top. This needs to be hotfixed asap before half of the console competitive community is banned for the season.

30% of the total player base plays on console, split between ps4 and xbox it’s roughly equal, so that means approximately 4 million players could potentially be banned from season 10 if this bug is not addressed asap.

Ive counted over 40 separate posts both here and on reddit that appear to be made by unique users reporting this bug.
Blizzard, please respond - give us a time frame on a hot fix.
The most popular mode in your game on console is currently unplayable as it is banning your players.
Will console players have our s10 leave/disconnect history reset after this bug fix? I’m afraid that if I get an accidental disconnect after the bug fix that I have exhausted my buffer and will receive an automatic season ban due to the damage this bug has already caused.

Please respond and show that you don’t totally despise the console community like some illegitimate child you had while on holiday.
We’ve been neglected for a long time despite being 30% of your player base.
Your game is currently unplayable.

From the streams that I watch, yes. It only appears to be a console specific problem at this stage.

Blizzard, check your internal stats on the minutes played in comp rialto xbox this season. They will reflect what is being said here.

Last night I was playing with a friend and my consol said I was joining Rialto but my friend said it wasn’t Rialto. He said we were on eichenwalde and as soon as the game started it said I left the game.
The same thing happened to me when I was queuing with a friend.

Hey there, sorry you’re encountering issues loading into Rialto on your Xbox. We’re trying to track down a means of reproducing this issue so any specifics you can give will help. Did you happen to encounter any issues with the installation of the game or patch recently? (pausing, failures, etc)
In the situations with a friend loading into a different map, are you seeing the same team line up? (assuming it was in competitive)
We’re continuing to investigate the issue but any nuggets of info you find could help us out!

I had no problem installing the new patch. I cannot answer your second question because I was queuing for quick play.
