Now hear me out, I’m not asking for a rez reset or anything, but I think that rez should be instant during valk. SInce most parts of mercy’s kit is enhanced during valk, and considering how some people use valk to get a rez off, it isn’t too much to ask for a reduced cast time on rez especially since those seconds spent rezing can be used elsewhere.

I’m actually kind of fine with how it is right now. The change to physics allows her higher mobility during rezzing valk than it does normally. However, I will say that 1.75 seconds still feels a bit TOO long, and the sound cue still goes off even if the rez fails, which is something they need to fix!

I sort of agree? Like jrg said, with the boop changes you have a lot more mobility which took me some getting used to, but it made rezzing in valk a little better.
If they ever made rez in valk instant (which i doubt they will) they would need to shorten the ult to compensate.
I will say though that i would love a bit of a shorter cast time at least - like 1s instead of 1.75s. Like you said, valk should enhance all of her kit somehow.

Instant rez proved to be very problematic, I’d rather not head down that road again for more nerfs. A shorter cast-time is probably possible, but instant? I would not hold my breath for it.

I’ve been rallying for this for months. One singular rez with no cast time during Valk, normal cooldown.
People play Mercy in high ranks, only to babysit/dmg boost a Dps or for the revive.
Buffing the dmg boost or the revive would just make Mercy more broken.
I think Mercy is in the best spot she’s been in a long time. If Rez was going to get enhanced during Valk, I think they should look elsewhere besides cast time. Cast range and speed reduction while casting is what comes to mind for me.
They have literally already had this. Instant speed Rez was removed for a reason, and shouldn’t come back.
Mercy is IMO solid, and really only needs the meta to shift away from Goats.

Interesting. I hadn’t thought about range. That could be an interesting buff during Valk. 
Along with the sound cue, I’m pretty sure there’s this thing when you try to resurrect someone that’s on ‘0’ on their respawn, it doesn’t register.
I don’t know if it’s just latency problems but I’ve found it to be pretty consistent.
Yes, I hear you and completely understand what you mean. Mercy is in a terrible place right now. She needs a massive buff. I think its completely fine to bring back mass rez on valkyrie mode. I think given the current state of game right now, mercy should be immune to CCs in her valkyrie mode. And, also her heals per second is too low. Her base heals should be 200hp/s and 500hp/s on her valkyrie mode.

Genji is arguably my least liked characters
I play him only when forced to do so (mystery heroes, for example)
Mercy is balanced stop asking for buff and learn this game if u want to rankup
Rez is ok and dont need to be instant.
Max what she could get during valk is faster rez movespeed and longer rez break range
While I agree that Mercy could do with some further improvements, I think this one might unfortunately go too far. She’s reasonably balanced I guess, but more of a pocket/enabler hero at the moment unfortunately. Her own individual potential impact, short of going Battle Mercy (which isn’t desirable), is subpar when compared with Moira or Ana.
I think blizzard should Revert the movement speed of the Valk with 60 hps back :S
1 sec cast time instead of 1,75 would be nice too
I dont want it Istant again but… a normal cast time like every other ability in the game… and a Ult charge by a succeeded res
I think Mercy need just this to be fixed
