Rework or buff mercy pleaseee!

I did see a lot of this back then, wouldn’t stick the tag to just Mercy players though, as that’d be false by default.

This is a pretty toxic place [the forums not this thread], so I guess it’s kind of expected.

So what does it mean when it’s flagged ?? Cause I’m new to this

It is a really toxic place, that is true. I usually reserve my flags for the most obvious of trolls, otherwise I just gasp leave threads I don’t like.

Prefer the Bioware unofficial forums, pragmatic moderation and far less toxicity.

Flagging essentially means it is going to be reviewed by a moderator if it is mass-flagged or potentially taken down.

If it does get taken down, action on the offending account is typically taken depending on the severity of the post.

This place is so bad for mass-flagging that we’re only now allowed 4 flags a day because of misuse.

Does this get me in trouble cause I started this by saying my opinion

Depends on the moderator’s review, you will get in trouble if it violates ToC, but if it doesn’t, I wouldn’t worry too much.

I don’t think I did anything wrong tho right?

Aaaaaand a good chunk of the Mercy players agreed! They didn’t want her to a must pick. A lot were questioning why SHE had to be reworked when heroes like Bastion, Reaper, and Ana were in far worse positions.

Yes there were some who were fine but don’t come off as ALL Mercy players wanted her to be that

Can’t say, as I don’t have ToC memorized. I’d read it and go through a checklist if you’re truly worried.

Be wary though, the smallest thing can get you in trouble, if it even so much as remotely violates the Terms of Conduct.

Does this affect my account on overwatch or what?

Typically it only effects the forum account, but if it is severe enough the Overwatch account can be impacted.

What should I do and do u think I did anything wrong?

Didn’t say that.

I was only stating that Mercy, by statistics alone, was not OK in her original rework state, nothing more.

I don’t know if you did anything wrong, I can’t tell since I’m not a moderator, only they know if you really did something.

If you believe you are falsely actioned if you DO receive a ban or something similar, I’d reccomend submitting a support ticket if action to your account happens. I wouldn’t do it unless something actually happens to your account.

If you didn’t do anything wrong, then I wouldn’t worry.

I honestly don’t think you have to worry, stating an honest opinion (even if unpopular) is usually not something they punish you for. Might take them some hours before the flags are removed though.

Ehh… sometimes they do, I’ve witnessed a few occurances.

But in this case specifically, I don’t think it’d really warrant any higher power to take action.

Eh, hence the “usually”. I have been actioned for some pretty… random stuff in the past, so I know better than to always trust in ultimate justice.

Yea cause I don’t think I did nothing wrong but what is the support ticket

A support ticket is essentially a sent ticket describing a problem to the moderators so that they can help solve it.

Typically navigated to by the Support button in the top right of your screen [Next to your profile name and icon]
