kiriko must be reworked to the following specifications. this eliminates all complaints and people won’t ever worry about her being overpowered or weak again.
remove TP its boring. replace it with more vertical mobility (double jump) and horizontal mobility akin to genji or hanzo or another mobile dps. give her fun movement. TP is a ‘get out of jail free card’ and frustrating when fighting her, and its boring when playing her. let me move around
remove power out of suzu obviously and put it into enhanced more consistent damage. you shouldnt be a pea shooter vs hammond in a ball or take years to kill a turret
keep her healing as is, one of the few well balanced things about her

Suzu is kind of a weird one, because it’s one of those abilities that’s INSANELY good ability against exactly one debuff and weak to borderline to actually useless against literally everything else.
But that one debuff is literally the most important debuff in the game and Suzu is like 90% of the counterplay to it. So you kinda have to give Suzu something else because otherwise its a dead ability into literally any hero that isn’t Ana or to a lesser extent JQ.
You would have to rework Anti-Heal before you reworked Suzu
well spoken. allthough JQ Anti Heal is perfect TBH is it’s an ultimate and meant to be big and stuff. Just not a short and cooldown focused skill to spam it regularly.
Oh yeah, Anti-Heal is fine for an ultimate effect. Makes it easy to confirm kills, but it doesn’t just automatically kill people for you. It’s in the same vein as other tank ults where you’ll probably, but not necessarily die to it if you can’t avoid it.
Suzu as an ability feels like Blizzard just kinda implemented it so Tanks wouldn’t want to kill themselves playing into Anti in a 5v5 environment and then they had to tack something else ontop of it so it did literally anything besides exist solely to counter anti-heal.
Nah, tp is fine, maybe decrease its range, or increase the cooldown, but her tp is one of her best aspects. Changing it to another completely different cooldown that doesnt require team mate, is stupid idea.
Her damage is inconsistent, which gives her balance niche.
Im fine with nerfing suzu’s immo, in exchange of some compensation buff.
Ult is propbably best one in the game, i’d just increase ult charge.
Its not a lot. Were right back to where Kiriko’s dmg potential was when she first came out, except that S9 breakpoints are different, so most everybody is safe from getting two tapped now. They have slowly upped the base kunai dmg while dropping the crit multiplier, and now were at 60 dmg with 2x crit, compared to og 40 dmg and 3x crit. Wowee. And I dont even know what you mean by “a lot” considering that its a projectile, and by invoking Zen, as if he didnt hit harder overall. 60 is bigger than 50, but youre conveniently leaving something out.
Instead of qing support and wanting to cosplay as genji just q dps and play genji.
You dont get free movement but ally based movement because youre supposed to use it to go and help people not go and flank like gengu and you have suzu and inconsistent damage because you qd support not a dps
Ok but op specifically mentioned, Hammond in his ball and deployables like turrets, meaning the crit modifier doesn’t even come into play, so the kunai simply does more damage against things that cannot be crit.
A support that can 2 tap while being incredibly hard to hit and having an immortality is broken
Consistent dmg is what blizz is supposedly looking for with Kiri’s kunai, but I dont like that they did it like this. I much prefer the old days of Kiri’s two tap reing of terror.

Teleport is teleport—it’s just as boring as walking; you can’t make it exciting. Besides, you should know that Blizzard’s general motto is not to copy. This has been broken a few times, but if we gave Kiriko Genji’s double jump, the two would be too similar!
Where is this supposed power of Suzu that people keep talking about? People act like Suzu is a 100% guaranteed lifesaver but don’t see that 90% of all Suzus have no impact on the fight or could have been handled differently. Yes, Suzu is annoying, but people always cry about something just because it disrupts their supposedly perfectly planned play with another ability. Just FYI, that play clearly wasn’t so perfect if a single enemy action could counter it!
The damage was fine, and they already removed her unique 3x crit because noobs couldn’t handle it. Kiriko is still a support, not a DPS. It’s bad enough we have Illari dealing more damage than some DPS heroes. The role is called “support,” but Blizzard seems to think the only supports are those who heal and deal damage. Great, let’s just rename the role to “DPS but better” while we’re at it!
Kiri does 60 per kunai, zen does 50 per orb, zen shoots much faster though so his DPS is higher my point was op want Kiri to be more consistent and she already is she was buffed from doing 40 per shot to 60 which no matter how you slice it was a massive buff.
They could add an aoe heal/damage around her when she appears… That will actually give OP something genuine to complain about as opposed to just grasping at straws XD
Imma slice it the way that it actually happened. Base kunai dmg went from 45 to 60, but the crit mutiplier dropped from 2.5x to 2x. This is not really a buff, at all. Its just more supposed consitent dmg, but whatever, the kunai doesnt really hit way harder than other stuff in the game, and the dps itself stays basically the same. Probably a little bit lower actually. Enough to make a difference and steal her two tap. So how are you getting that it was a massive buff?
And I also saw that OP mentioned ball and turrets, but kiri still does the same base dmg to everything, so it doesnt really matter if those things cant be crit.
