Revert Roadhog to how he was when the game was first released. He is terrible right now. In high level game play, he has one of the lowest win rates in the game.
He used to be a really good counter to dive comp; not since you nerfed him into the ground though. He can no longer kill a Tracer or Genji if he lands a hook, which is very difficult to do given their mobility. So it is difficult to hook them, and after I do so they can just get away. Gotta love a high risk no reward ability like that.
On top of that, the more heroes you add in, the more heroes counter Roadhog. He is absolutely useless against Brigette. She will just whack you with her mace and you can shoot at her as much as you want, but it won’t do any damage.
By nerfing his hook, you not only removed the characters main theme, you removed the fun from his kit. Why would anyone pick Roadhog over any other tank in the game right now? They wouldn’t.

He does need a buff, but he is closer to fine than someone like tracer.

He can still kill Tracer. Not Genji, Winston, D.Va anymore though. On top of that 8 sec Hook only hurts more because of how easy it is for Tracer/Genji to dodge it, so they get 8 sec of free ulti charge because of how bad the Scrap gun is when it isn’t pointblank

The hook is still pretty terrible and bug ridden. If the enemy is on any different level on the y-axis when the hook connects, it doesn’t matter if they were already at eye-level, they will suddenly jolt upwards and mess up your aim

I don’t mean to where he could one shot everyone, including Zarya. I mean to where he was at release. Heck, I’d even take a buff where he can just oneshot Genji and Tracer.

Being able to delete anyone under 200 HP every 8 seconds is not good for the health of the game.

he was the only one who really countered corner pokers but when they put the Second line of sight check in it destroyed his ability to stop that.
how hooks works now:
throw hook
is it in line of sight?
yes
do hook damge
is it in line of sight?
yes
pull in
why if you can damge with the hook do you have to check again to pull some one in? we already checked it got them when we damaged them!

Brigs armor makes a lot harder to kill with Hog and Hanzo eats him alive

If you want him back to how he was before his rework, then that means losing his buffs as well.
- No longer can Roadhog move when he is healing himself.
- No more damage reduction when he is healing himself.
- He will lose the extra ammo.
- He will shoot at a slower fire rate.
Roadhog is balanced.
There is no need for changes.
And he especially don’t need the broken hook 1.0 back.

Brig has obvious counters but one of them is doing poorly which is Junkrat. And Hanzo is getting nerfed just has Brig so maybe Road will do better
If he was balanced, he would be useful. There is no reason to pick Roadhog over another hero. I’d be plenty fine with losing those changes. Then maybe he’d be viable and have a decent winrate again.

he’s absolutely not fine.
He’s very much RNG reliant right now.
And besides that many people just outright use his gun as just a tool to prep for his hooks, which at that point SEVERELY limit his killing potential and essentially just make him a walking pile of ULT charge.
And with his new ability of running around healing up, he has gained much higher sustainability which surprisingly gives the enemy team MORE ult charge off of you.
But a lot of people like his new heal so he can run and not die to like every ult.
But at that point, you’ll be the last one alive and then you cant follow up after that, you’re just trash beyond that.

He would actually do worse but be plain unfair and unfun to play agaisnt, and again the meta dont favoring him doesnt mean he is UP, just like the situation about Winston who is doing pretty bad at the moment
