A power shift which would make Hanzo a better, more consistent pick.
Revert the projectile speed nerfs (from 110 to 125). Increase the time to reach full charge to 0.85 seconds. Increase his Lunge cooldown to 6 seconds. Decrease Storm Arrow damage to 60 per arrow.
thx

I would just revert arrow speed and decrease storm arrows from 5 to 3

id rather have current storm arrow damage and charge time than have the faster projectile speed but thats just me
I think 3 is too little and it wouldn’t feel good as an ability. Maybe 4 instead and keep the 70.
Honestly I don’t want to relearn his arrow speed for the 3rd time. There is a lot of muscle memory into that.
Not only that but spamzo comments are common. They’d just get worse with his old arrow speed. I prefer the slower speed, but I also am biased bc its the speed I learned to play him at. Im sure those who got the game after he got the faster speed would say the opposite, but honestly yeah I just don’t want to fight muscle memory.

You’d probably need to reduce it to like, 2 arrows.
I am a hanzo main and I have to respectfully disagree, hanzo is stronger than people think he is. Hanzo is not the reason hes not doing so hot, hitscans are just too good. Projectiles in general have it tough because of consistency, increasing hanzos projectile again will break the game all over again. The issue are hitscans, thats where blizzard needs to focus their attention.
Does anyone wonder why mcree is probably the most balanced hitscan in the game? Its simple, range falloff, slow, big hitbox. What does he get for that? Consistent and strong primary at medium range, a flashbang able to allow a free pick on any flanker, a fan with enough burst damage to delete a tank in an instant. When we look at the other hitscans, what do they have? Ashe and widow have mobility, range falloff is almost non existent because of map design, huge magazines, really small hitboxes. Soldier is in a pretty good spot too but of course his helix I personally feel needs to be reduced to 8 seconds. 6 seconds is just so easy to melt everything and his now extremely easy to use primary already allows him to melt fast.
Again, the issue comes from the hitscans, not really hanzo or any projectile characters. Hanzo is actually perfect, high skill gap, extremely useful abilities, decent mobility, decent ultimate and able to win any duel granted you have the aim and the positioning to do so. If hanzo got his speed back, he would easily be the best hero in the game.

Yeah if only the hitscan menace got a nerf sometime this year. Or the next for all we know.
Why? So you can spam faster?

Projectile is harder than hitscan. You probably couldn’t play any projectile hero.

Yeah I’m sure I can’t aim when I’m 1000 sr above you

You play Hanzo so that is obvious.

why not replace storm arrow with a piercing one that can go through x ammount of targets?

So he actually has consistency at longer ranges. Even with faster arrow speed he was never that consistent past medium range

no that was your que to stop talking cause you’re playing hitscan meta heroes and failing to climb to diamond LOL

Imagine spamming log sized arrows into oversized hitboxes and thinking you’re good. Then, complaining because the spam doesn’t come out fast enough. Why not just play a hitscan? Oh. That’s right. You can’t spam hitscan and get 1 shot kills in the same way. You actually have to aim.
