I’ve taken a nice long enough break from OW, about February to August. I’ve occasionally played 1 match of each season during that break during my boring hours and now after hearing about role queue I’ve jumped back in but how long will I stay?
So far, I’ve completed all placements on all 3 roles, and I’ve been ranked at least 100 SR away from my last placement 2 seasons ago which was 2790. So far I can’t say I’m overly excited and happy with this change as it just locks you in a 2-2-2 comp but at least it eliminates those cheesy comps like quad tank or goats or whatever meta there was now. I’ve gone 1-4 or 2-3 for my roles and really I am getting used to playing again and trying next season to get back to masters. The beta is a testing ground for me as losing does not really matter but tells me my future of the game. Gonna see how long I stick with this game again.
As for the beta I have a question regarding SR tanks. I am currently 2600 about for my 3 roles, wondering if any progress or game stats will carry and affect season 18 placements.
