Currently there are a whopping 10 battle passes filled with tons of “retired” cosmetics, skins, highlights, emotes, etc that can NEVER be obtained again. It’s pretty ridiculous looking through the gallery and seeing everything that is lost to time.
Can we bring back old battle passes? Fine with paying for the premium pass for each and earning the tiers like normal, at least having the option to.

id rather have an option to substitute skins from the current pass of the same rarity. maybe put it on rotation like mythic skins and you can buy the skin with shop credit (1 epic skin credit, 1 legendary skin credit, etc) or swap it out
Man, I just wanna finish the purchased seasons 1, 2 and 5 passes I had but life problems came up halfway through those seasons and I didn’t get to finish them
I maintain my stance that I can understand the FOMO of passes, even if I don’t like it… But that it’s STUPID and not even profitable to time lock passes you’ve ALREADY BOUGHT
I think it would be cool if battle passes included currency that can be used to unlock stuff from old battlepasses. Like you get enough to unlock two old battlepass cosmetics per new battlepass. Kinda like the mythic prisms
They’ll likely be put in the shop or as a Twitch promotion (they love using old cosmetics that most people have already).
No cosmetics outside of feat-of-skill cosmetics should be permanently unavailable. Period.
I can get behind exclusive early access for RL purchases (Blizzcon, pre-order etc), but only as a timed exclusive, not a permanent one.
100% agreed. Such a weird gatekeeping concept.
Knowing Blizz with the mythics they might offer them again probably threw mythic currency or something.
it’s funny how regular battle pass skins are more exclusive than mythics
as someone who has gotten to tier 80 minimum every season, and even 200 for like 3 or 4 passes.

more content for new players is always good, and keeps player retention high. constant rewards would be great for people
That’s just how fomo works, I guess. Being exclusive, they’re betting on $10 from you now rather than maybe more than that later.
i would like to get the wait till you see me on my bike, and its the witching hour voice lines and edm dva as i dont really care for hte mythics in the store currently
I feel like if they want to maintain the FOMO of being there without restricting access to the cosmetics they should just make the passes purchasable without the prestige tiers. now you can flex your rare stuff that says “I was there” and others can still enjoy some things they might have missed.
I’m sure they will. It’s win-win imo: Blizzard gatekeeps a whole trove of stuff newer players cannot have, then release it in the shop or as part of a promotion 2 years later.

I think it’s silly that some seasons my main gets only a victory pose or a voice line in the battlepass and there’s no way to get it other than spending 10$ - everything else in the pass I’ll never use. I don’t buy it because that’s not worth 10$ but I wish I could get them separately. They’re just common tier items, nothing special and so it’s not a big deal if they never come back but it is a bit annoying.
I’m really hoping they do bring the old BP stuff back. I’d love to get Weaver’s Phi Ta Khon skin, with that menacing-looking mask

Add me to the list of people wanting the old battlepass skins to return. I think it’d be totally reasonable to be able to get them using the mythic prism currency.
