Resolution for the game?

So Blizzard really needs to take the approach of how other games like Team fortress 2 and other Valve servers take which is a MOTD rules board. With a twist that is unique to theirs:

Click Q for Quickplay / Competitive:

First screen:

Before you deployed. Please read through the following rules of accepting this mission:

1 ) Players will not spam communications.
2 ) players will not talk bad to one another
3 ) You will respect your team members.
4 ) If you abandon this mission. Your mission operative status will be decline by 5 points. Which means your Q times will increase and your mission operator status will pair you with other operators in a lower operator status.
5 ) All comms that are disruptive will revoke your communications privelages.
6 ) Use of cheating will suspend your operator status to play this game with other players.

“ACCEPT” / “Decline” this contract?

After this it should take you to a screen with 5 randomly active or about to start matches:

When you want to start a Match it should pop up a message board on your screen with 5 active matches in your region with the following information.

“Take this assignment” #1.

Team 1 (YOUR TEAM MMR Rating %) vs Team 2 (enemy team MMR rating %)
called “The spread” (Statistician prediction.

Team 1 (x players in group) team 2 (x players in this group).

Map / Mode: (List map name).

“ACCEPT” / “Decline”

“Take this assignment” #2. (MATCH IN PROGRESS) 4.5x Earnings.

Team 1 (YOUR TEAM MMR Rating %) vs Team 2 (enemy team MMR rating %)
called “The spread” (Statistician prediction.

Team 1 (x players in group) team 2 (x players in this group).

Map / Mode: (List map name).

“ACCEPT” / “Decline”

Thoughts? Is this a good idea? bad idea? Would it make the community worse/better.

Have at it! Thanks!

That sounds like it would be a pretty good idea in theory, and like you said before games like TF2 have had success with it. I’m curious if it would impact queue times at all because anytime they add in a new feature everyone gets up in arms about that. I think it could be helpful but at the same time things like the rules board shouldn’t be necessary (even though for some it probably is)

Honestly screen resolution is what I thought this thread was going to be about.

I don’t think Blizzard is going to be transparent with MMR ratings.

I was just searching for ideas to make Overwatch a bit better since there seams to be a lot of confusion on this game’s RULES and a lot of players stating they are angry because they dont like to play certain maps or modes.

So I feel with something like 5 “assignment” cards that pop up and a person can request others to see if they want to be in higher or a bit lower MMR rating matches to see if that would perhaps cull toxicity and maybe make the game more appealing to others.

LMAO. ROFL. Read the whole post.

I’m still on 1080p… I see you in 500+ Hz though!

Also OP, good idea overall. A matchmaker that lets you decide on a game to play, in a sense.
