Eight heroes is a pretty big category. I was hoping to expand upon it with a Mercy skin as a lifeguard:
Have her wear a tasteful one-piece red swimsuit marked “Lifeguard.” For the staff, she should have a pool noodle or one of those poles with a hoop to reel in drowning people. For the pistol, give her a water sprayer. For the halo, a vivid gold halo over her head not attached to anything, because she’s being a guardian angel for the swimming folks. xD
Ult line should be, “Heroes never drown.” Please note I didn’t invent that, somebody else on forums did. But, for a lifeguard Mercy, nothing I’ve ever heard beats that.
Life Guard Mercy is so obvious, it’s the only skin I’d say we’re justified in being upset hasn’t come out yet. It needs to happen. Do it for the fanart, Blizzard!
Echo in a swimsuit could work… if they get really creative.

If it makes you feel any better, I personally dislike this event’s Mercy skin so badly that I am only buying it because I buy all Mercy stuff. If I could undo what has been done, I would. xD
Well, the voice actor and actress declared it official, hired a brilliant Deviant Art artist to make couples art, co-autographed it, and sold the copies together at conventions.
I can’t really know if they talked to Jeff Kaplan and his crew for this, but that’s a lot to do on their own.
VA can confirm anything, that doesn’t mean it’s canon. In Persona 5, the main character’s VA said he’s gay but you can’t date guys in game so it ain’t canon, same in OW
