Reports not being handled or feedback bugged?

I get that people had vacation over Christmas and New Years and that it has to be expected that no one is checking the report system at this time.

Especially cheaters and toxic people however should be dealt with asap as those ruin the experience the most. Whilst it’s good that the system isn’t fully automated, I feel like some things could and should be done to improve the experience during the vacation time.

There’s way too many people being straight up toxic for no reason because they aren’t getting banned. Don’t even try to play tank those days, people will flame you for merely existing, same with support where they feed their brains out and wonder why they’re not getting healed.

It usually happens like once every 10 games during normal times, those days it’s 9/10 games and just makes you not want to play the game.

Things like could fix this partially:

  • filtering chats for common words that are used with toxic speech and then just mute that player until the end of the vacation with no direct influence on the account status (due to potential false positives) until it was checked after vacation.

  • cheating detection that automatically bans the most obvious cases of cheating without needing human verification

  • something that bans people who hard troll (aka jump off the map an unusual amount of time in a certain time frame like 5 times within 10-15 seconds of walking out of spawn or just unusually high numbers of falling of the map without ever being in a fight in between)

Just today alone, i have put in atleast 70 reports

i can confirm the report system isnt working. at all

i report tons of trolls and throwers

None of them got actioned.

If you’re reporting 70 people a day, you’re account has probably been flagged to be ignored because you’re just reporting anyone and everyone. I rarely report people and when I do it’s for an actual reason and literally every single time without fail they get banned.

Sounds like you’re reporting everyone on the losing team for “throwing” just because they lost. That’s a bit obsessive dude.

Good thing no one’s out there abusing the report system though huh. It’s only big meanies that get reported.

The system is 100% automated, there is no human interaction before punishment is given. It is likely they turned the system off due to the fact it doesn’t work as intended and they are tired of getting tickets from people who got punished for doing nothing.

they turned it off, toxic players and cheaters are still players, and right now they can’t afford to lose any.

nah I can confirm that they broke the notifications

haven’t been getting any notifications, been reporting players left and right and nothing

then got my own account banned out of the blue this morning for two weeks for abusive chat, and never got the usual notification that my account was out of line etc

It was probably deserved because I’ve said some things that certainly would have gotten me actioned, to “test the waters” so to speak, but there was no warning this time and there always has been in the past.

either way I’m not upset about it, the game has been getting on my nerves a lot lately and it’s good to take a break. won’t be my first, but it just may be my last.

maybe I’ll check that other game out finally. My mental health can’t take much more of this dump.
