Guys ive been silenced in a brand new acc and i dont know why.
“Due to multiple reports we silenced your account” when i had the chat dissabled
I havent text or spoken a single thing.
Dose the A.I. check the accusations on each game ( eg your texting ) or it auto bans you regardless ? Even by fake reports ?
Overwatch community has some sore losers. Most of the people who never get banned also don’t win ha.
“Matchmaking is just stumps” and “You probably deserved the ban” go hand in hand.
Might as well ride out the silence. You can try to appeal; but probably just get a GM telling you they won’t reverse it.
And Mahvel. I just had a forced name change because of those nasty social justice warrior betas…
The original Dafran who was a OW Pro and streamer was pretty toxic in the old days… perhaps they reported your battle tag out of spite?
My suggestion – ask for a report of the incidents that got you banned. Even non-verbal taunting like t-bagging can get actioned.
I can get away with a little trash talk in Marvel. Overwatch banned me for regular trash talk.

This is what can get your 7 year account banned smh.
Yeah trash talk is a risky move in OW… older high value accounts are not worth gambling away for a 2 second vent.
They changed the whole report system when they dropped 2. The free crowd was probably more toxic and we all got burnt by the new rules.
Do you spam voicelines or something?
I find it extremely unlikely that you were suspended having never used any form of chat or communication. Like sorry that just doesnt add up. Contrary to what the forums might want you to believe, people dont go around mindless reporting everyone for no reason whatsoever.

Everyone hates the name dafran,he threw hundreds of games and encouraged his chat to do so too.

No and No, and to get an actual human from the so called Customer support it will take roughly 12 tickets or more.
This is the main reason I prefer Rivals and actually spend money on Rivals; I can talk in chat and as long as I’m not cursing or using slurs, I don’t have to worry about my account getting the banhammer/silenced cause I said “gg”.
The report system is so sensitive now it is best to just turn off chat.
