Reporting system not working?

I’ve had so many throwing trolls in my games lately and I report them with replay codes and a good text description. Before this season, I’d login and see a notification of some type of action taken, but since S14 I’ve seen ZERO of them so far. I don’t needlessly report, and haven’t changed my style of detailed reporting, so seems like something has definitely changed on Blizzard’s end. Is it just me? Has anyone else had this experience?

Does it matter?

Just avoid the player when you report them, in case there’s no ban, you’d still avoid them.

Game integrity and quality matters to me and obviously to Blizzard since they implemented the measure in the first place. It’s nice to know the system is working even though I have no visibility into the actions taken.

Maybe its about time.
Maybe there was nothing to report to them or their bot.
Maybe not enough people reported.

Tbh I have no idea how it works.

it is just cosmetic, so you would not feel bad. They do not ban throwers, cheaters, trolls, only those who talk in chat.

Quite simple really.

Count matches reported in, so either 1 or 9 people reporting them in a game, counts as 1.

Get reported in enough games in a set period of time… silence/suspension/account closed depending on what stage your account is at.

People saying things like this, whilst understandable, don’t help one bit. Chat bans are just quicker and easier to build up… people can’t keep their mouths shut after all.

It’s not just you. Since this season I’ve had 0 messages thanking me for reporting. Before I had plenty.
