The report system is flawed, and so many players weaponize it.
blizzard needs to do something about this.
I have never once heard blizzard respond to reports of the flawed report system.

players that get banned and locked out cause they need a new phone number can’t spend money on the game. you would think they would care about lost revenue.
the amount of people getting banned cause of report abuse must be pretty high considering many report if even a single feather gets ruffled.

As long as the whales dont get unfairly banned blizz doesnt lose money so nothing is going to change. I mean, even if we found a way to identity whales and mass report them for false bans just like everyone else, blizz would suddenly get off their butts and get humans to come in and restore the whales for more spending.

Blizzard doesn’t discriminate, they hate everyone equally. Just take a look at all the topics where whales are crying about getting banned.

I have literally seen people in my matches calling to report x,y player for “inappropriate communication” because they did not like their pick and how they were playing even tho that said player never said a word in chat because you cannot get banned if you report for gameplay sabotage only if you report for inappropriate communication. You get banned for calling a thrower a thrower. You get banned for GG, you get banned for “x,y, z diff”.
It has become impossible to actually play the game and say anything. You actually do not have to say anything at all, you can still get reported and banned.
The problem with Blizzard is that they do not know the meaning of " middle ground". That goes for their hero balance as well as harsh punishments. Hero is too OP? Nerf them so they become unplayable. Hero is too weak, buff them so they become too OP.
People complain about too many leavers in QP? Now no one is allowed to leave. People complained about hard throwers, cheaters, racist people, homophobes, sexist people not getting banned? Now you get banned for saying “da*n that was a nice shot”. Oh and throwers and cheaters are still not getting banned lol. The irony.
Absolutely no middle ground. It is either black or white.

That is what people said about Kotick and nothing has changed. Firing Aaron would be the same.
I’ve had multiple players who didn’t like my play style type in orange chat for everyone to report me for “racial slurs.”
I have vc turned off. I keep typed chat to pg because i know there is a curse filter. Even like cursing to compliment players I don’t do. Like “ you’re f-ing awesome.”
The report system is weaponized because players know they can abuse it.

I don’t understand why so many people think the report system has no flaws and is working properly.
they flame everyone who says they were unfairly banned. some of them might be lying, but i don’t believe that all of them are.
reports are handled by ai, and people act like ai is perfect. pleas, ai is in its infancy and is not perfect.
we have absolutely no customer service looking over reports, just bot replies.
system needs changed or the game will die by the time marvel rivals has been out for a month.

I’ve heard of toxic players with considerable $$ sunk into their accounts still getting perma-banned, so Blizz does not care about the money factor.

I think it would actually change something, if there was a lie jar at blizzard you bet it would be worth more than Elon Musk. I usually just see companies as “another lie another day” but Aaron unironically annoys people, people want this game to be good and he gives off a “I don’t feel like it” mood

I got silenced on my account for abusive of chat. Ill send a message to blizzard that thats not possible, only thing i got back was that in was against the terms and bla bla.
How can i be toxic, when ive got my chat hidden, team chat disabled, global chat disabled and voice chat disabled. How does that even work 0o
